Re: Mikuni carb numbers for Qingqi/Qlink 200's
The bike's looking great, Roger, and bloody Oregon is looking awesome! What an amazing place to live and ride.
Keep the pictures coming, and watch yourself in that ice.
Oh, and whereabouts are you on the Clackamas River?

Re: Mikuni carb numbers for Qingqi/Qlink 200's
I live in deep SE Portland, but I lived up on the Clackamas river for a good 12+ years above Estacada. That pic of the bridge is about 15 miles east of Estacada. I am a bit of a photo junkie, I take pics of everything.
After that ride and my fingers getting a bit Chilled. I went out today bought these and put them on. Nothing for crash protection, but since I ride in all weather it will work for road spray and wind to keep it off my fingers.

What part of NorCal are you in? Lived in Fremont and Newark (SE Bay Area) for 7 years.
Re: Mikuni carb numbers for Qingqi/Qlink 200's
You are right. Those could better be called wind flaps than handguards; they won't protect your levers at all, which could leave you in a pickle if you drop your bike out there amidst all that beauty. Why not get handguards with a proper backbone attaching to the bar end?
When I'm not in China, which has been most of the time for the past 20 years, I generally north of the Golden Gate, in Sonoma County, which is where I learned to ride exactly a year ago during my first long visit in decades. I figured learning to ride in China would be tempting a Darwinian outcome. In a perfect future I'd spend a lot more of my time in northern California, riding my KLR650, though I'm enjoying the hell out of my JH600 here (when I'm not convalescing from bone breaks).
I'm guessing the move from the freeways and sprawl of the south bay to the wilds of Oregon was a good one....
cheers

Honestly, $$ right now. $34 compared to $120 for Acrebis or Cycra style like that. It was just Christmas and the funds are a little low after buying a few things lately.

well, they look good! and they will keep your fingers warmer.
cheers!
