Re: Dragon Boat-Festival-Ride Chongli, 4th - 6th June, 2011, Part 1
G'Day,
Any plans to run the bike event again 2012 yet?
Re: Dragon Boat-Festival-Ride Chongli, 4th - 6th June, 2011, Part 1
yeah, we did think about it. But maybe going to a different location closer to BJ and start preparation earlier.
There should be also a different approach to involve the chinese biker community. Even with publishing it no mainlander had joined.

Good idea - one suggestion would be ...
Don't make it a "biker" event ... rather, try to make it more widely inclusive for "motorcyclists", so that people on 125s/dirt bikes/sport bikes/scooters/Chinese/Japanese, etc. don't feel looked down on. Save the "mine is bigger than yours" events for something else. TIC, not Sturgis/Daytona.
Yeah, well, my two fen.
Re: Dragon Boat-Festival-Ride Chongli, 4th - 6th June, 2011, Part 1
Agree. We can address it more to the motorized two/three wheeler community. Anyway last year we had motorcycles, side cars and also a scooter. Some people came by car with families.
That wasn't a problem. Everybody is invited.
I have some ideas for this years T-shirt already. ... And we will have it early and up to 4XL this time.
I still have the address list from the participants of last June. So we have a core list to spread information from there.
And because new ideas are welcome .... lets hear your proposals for a location

G'Day,
Any time frame yet? May or June would be great in my opinion.

Sounds like a perfect time!
The question is whether we start a real planning or just name a location and some hotels/ camp ground nearby and everybody is doing individually.

G'Day,
Personally, always prefer to do my own arrangements to be more flexible. Looking forward to some ideas about locations.
Seasons Greetings!
