I will be picking up the motorbike on Sunday 7th August and will upload updated pics when I receive the bike :) I can't explain how excited I am, even if the bike doesnt start it'll take probably not even an hour to get firing and running. :DQuote:

Hey guys. So I picked the bike up today and to say I'm chuffed is an understatement.. It has a proven 509 miles since it was registered in 2008! It was used for just that one year 2008-2009.. and so hasn't been taxed since and is currently sorn. The only thing letting the bike down is the rust covered exhaust, which isn't a problem because I've got the wirebrush and hi temp black paint out :D

I haven't managed to start it as of yet. I did kick it over a couple of times and it sounds like it wants to go (Exhaust backfires asif it's about to fire up) but to no avail. Any help would be appreciated, I will say one thing. When I had my old 2 stroke, the piston rings had gone and it would only start on a bump or erratic kicking from the kick start..
It sounds like this may be the case here, if so, how hard would it be to change rings and piston?
