Registration

Thanks BikerDoc, I have been offered a touring bike with Hebei plates, but for what I have read through this forum, it seems that a lot of Hebei plates are false. I am thinking about the possibilities I have now and I would like to know if you guys agree or could sugest me a better way.

1) Checking the actual plates at the DMV, I am not sure if you can do this, but I suposse this would be the right place to do it. In this case, could I ride in Beijing municipality, excluding the city with the Hebei plates?

2) Buying Jing A or B plates, as the moto is just the one I need. Where to buy them, this I am not sure. If you could recommend me an agent or a shop, this would be great ( I ve heard about Qili , some big volume moto agent/distributor, but I cant seem to find the details about him in the forum)

I am really looking forward to buying this or any moto, I am currently in the process of validiting my driving license but I hope I can make some trips with you guys in a couple of weeks.
