a dodgy looking mate?
hey Maux, nice ride... there's a good shop behind peace plaza if you're looking for good gear.... also the HD shop on xinghai square... did you check them out yet?
The bike handles great, though it's still new and who knows what a few years of riding would do. The throttle is very responsive and if I could complain about anything throttle related it's that it's a little too sensitive while I'm crusing at lower speeds. I'm used to a throttle lock and I think I'll look into getting one for this bike.
MQRider, I haven't checked them out yet. Those are both much closer than the shop I bought the bike at! I'll check those out sometime during the break and maybe pick up a decent helmet!
The real problem isn't that they didn't have a decent selection, but that I had trouble getting one that fit my weird gourd. The helmet I've got now is OK but it's a 3/4 with a full face shield and it wouldn't give me the protection I want in an accident or in much rain for that matter. I ride with a fairly plane brown jacket so it would be nice to get a high vis vest
Well my old parking spot in the bat-cave has been taken over by some kind of shelving and other stuff someone decided to stick there, so I've relocated. I'm not sure if my insistance in not using a parking space is appreciated or not but for the safety of the bike I also prefer to park away from the other vehicles. In fact this spot is much nicer than the place I was using. For one the air ducts above where I used to park leaked and it smelled a bit. The lighting is also better. As you can see there is also a massive door which is bolted to the wall that I can lock the bike to. I'm not sure why these doors are down there but there are 7 or 8 of various size around the garage and their all just bolted to the wall, not in use at all. Aside from a nice man who occasionally uses the area to sift through and box Jasmine tea the spot seems totally unused. My bike does get covered in tea dust though, a small and pleasant smelling price for such an otherwise exclusive spot.
