Re: Grettings from Switzerland
LOL Kraft is American, their head quarters are in Chicago, if you look at their list of institutional investors, you should see Wall Street, if you studied their history you would definitely get a lesson in American corporatism Their European HQ is near Zurich.
Soon your chocolate will be sold through Mondelez International.
Re: Grettings from Switzerland
This reminds me of an episode of "The Simpsons", when disappointed and jealous Lisa asks Bart, who was selected to participate in the student exchange program and to go to France: "What do you know about France?"
He replied "I know that I'm going there and you do not!" :icon10:
Re: Grettings from Switzerland
That would be are not as in I know that I am going and you are not.
Mondelez translates in French to world delicious or monde délicieux? However in Russian it could mean much more, as in manda leez or манда лизать.
Re: Grettings from Switzerland
Тhe most important thing is that you're caught my point. :icon10:
Re: Grettings from Switzerland
Is this a great thread or what!! Swiss chocolates, linguistic culture, American corporate hegemony and the Simpsons (which of course represents cultural hegemony)!
Swiss Bobber, your Schwiizertüütsch accent is welcome here any time -- and be sure to post pictures of your new bobber plowing over snowy Alpine passes.
Welcome and cheers!
