I cannot keep the Beijing B plate. you need to be chinese and live outside 5th Ringroad Beijing to own this plate. I am nothing of it.
here in Suzhou, only new bought bikes can be plated downtown. it is a second hand bike. maybe, it can be done with a police registration / apartment / residence permit outside downtown. (very big "maybe". ) same goes for all cities arround.
I have a Kunshan first residence and a second one here. impossible? ask the agent, she has done it. I dont know how and why.
with the first one, I am outside downtown Kunshan. today Thomas assistant tried to get the answer how to get this bike legal. the answer I will post when I knew it.

legal in Beijing, all taxes payed, insurance, etc -------- is totally illegal here
second point of conflict:
the ownership transfer can only be made by the offical office in Beijing, when it is sure and "bestaetigt", just miss the english word, that the bike will be registered here in my name.

as I mentioned above, I try very hard to be legal. but when "push comes to shove" they can kiss my ass. excuse my french.. I just want to have a fine, reliable bike to train my skills. I want to have fun and ride down south Gobi desert.

I step back from the sale. Thomas just came back and told me, that there is no way to get a used bike legal here.

As Sabine has stated the bike is for sale again. I hope I can find a buyer before next Friday, because I will be leaving in two weeks, and it looks like there is some paperwork to be done for the propierty transfer.
