A 16 tooth should be fine. I think you have a 15 tooth as standard and a 17 tooth has to be ordered from china so this is your best option.

Ok thanks a lot mate. I have another question. For some reason i can not get the brake light to come on when i pull the front brake. But the light does work when i use the rear brake. If you have answers it will be much appreciated.
There is a little switch next to the front brake lever which is pressed when the brake is applied, it is fairly exposed so rain can get in to it and damage it. You can test if it is broken by removing the 2 wires connecting to it and connect them together with a bit of wire or something (with the ignition on) and see if the brake light comes on, if it does there's your problem. If it dosen't you have a wiring problem. You could also confirm that the switch is broken by testing for continuty between the 2 terminals on the switch with the brake applied using a multimeter.
You can get a replacement switch here

Or if you want to do it as cheap as possible you could get any old push switch and glue it in place.
Thanks again mate is there anything you don't know? =) Your the man with all the answers.
I'm the man with the Haynes manual :)
