It is by all accounts. I have been looking at buying a BMW F700GS from SH Motorrad. They have organised comprehensive insurance which includes theft cover. I recall that one of my mates here, had comprehensive insurance including theft cover on his new Harley. It seems it is available...
Don't know which insurance company though, and how one might get it outside of some dealership ogranised deals.

Yes, dealer specific arrangements are sometimes available. HD (Shanghai) offered it, but not HD (Beijing). At least not when I owned my HDs. Might have changed. HD (Beijing) might now offer it. But these are one-off services provided by individual dealers, to the best of my knowledge.

Each time I renew my insurance at PICC on one of my bikes, I enquire with hopeful fingers crossed - as of last month, still unavailable. Usually, the counter clerk chuckles when I ask.
