Of course a custom seat is best but Airhawk's start at around RMB550 or US$90.00 and I am pretty sure that it is still cheaper to buy one and throw it in a suitcase or even ship it to China than send the bike to Thailand.....just sayin
Here is where I got mine for what it is worth.

PRC Gel seat cushion options:
BX116 Gel cushion CNY218
BX-B Gel cushion CNY265.32 - with mid-line separation (this would be a good option for narrower bike seats me thinks as one could likely cut down the centre of the cushion without compromising cushions integrity.
BX-水凝胶 Gel cushion CNY125.10
These Gel seat cushions need modification for a motorcycle seat application; likely cutting to shape, possibly recovering, sewing and addition of securing straps or similar...
Butt-Buddy motorcycle seat cushions (ship worldwide)
Before I Modified and had made a custom seat for the YBR I did try a cheap Gel seat which is sold on Taobao as a seat for a chair, worked well and was much better then the OE seat but does increase the seat height so if in your case this could be a issue then I would not recommend and you have to find a way off fixing it down!
Here are some pictures of the Gel seat in place and a picture of the YBR OE seat

I have to say, I am quite lucky that my TMEC 200 came stock with a very comfortable seat--at least for my riding purposes. I ride 16.4 miles each way to work, on roads, and that is it. I have sat on both the Honda CRF250 street bike (US spec version) and the Yamaha XT250 (US spec) at the local dealer, and both had seats which felt like a rounded piece of concrete wrapped in a piece of fabric. Maybe you guys with GY bikes can contact TMEC and see if they sell seats separately (I know they are an export-only company as far as whole bikes go), and would want to make sure they fit on your particular bike?
