Re: LIFAN lf 250 B Help
My apologies on the previous reply. It's something I've found with written messages, they can often be read the wrong way. Thank you for the information I needed. I agree the bike should be doing a lot better than it is. While cleaning and re-lubing the chain today I have noticed a complete lack of care the previous owner had for the bike.
I also noticed recently a picture of a LIFAN that looks like it had the front forks and wheel off a V-star/Virago.
Thanks again guys. Appreciate immensely

Re: LIFAN lf 250 B Help
I'd like to thank you guys for your patience and help.
My lifan is running the 530 set on it so I either have to find a 530 front sprocket or replace front and rear sprockets and replace the chain with a 520.
Your help has been a life saving to say the least.

Re: LIFAN lf 250 B Help
Evidently the Lifan has a heavy duty chain, here is a vendor that sells a complete stock set, does it look the same as what is on yours? I would send them an email asking if they know if their are any other options for the LF250-P?

notice the front sprocket looks like it is shimmed out, if you went all new 520 take that into consideration.
I wonder if the Yamaha and Lifan are interchangeable, the front sprockets look different to me.

Re: LIFAN lf 250 B Help
Another question for you guys, is the Virago front fork setup the same as LIFAN ie: direct bolt on.
I know it's a big ask but I have plans for fixing her up
