Wonderful contribution, thanks!
Thanks dy.
And as ChinaV mentioned the hardcore don't use hoses! See his his posting A Thousand K in a day
You guys are joking about diapers, right? No body's that hardcore, right? Unless it's live or death.
The fist liar does not stand a chance in this conversation!
No one lying here DY. In our community it's kind of an unwritten rule and also a rite of passage, the real hardcore tourers don't stop to crap. Furthermore, kudos are given out to those who find creative ways to defecate on themselves while riding. There's a hidden section on this forum where we share ideas and pictures on the matter but you need at least 200 posts to see it.
you fuckers are killing me. Thanks, I needed a laugh!
Not so sure why you're laughing???
Anyway, if you still don't be believe us about the diapers you can ask these guys (Dream Rangers crew): http://v.youku.com/v_show/id_XMjQxMTUwNTI0.html They invented the Crap & Ride method* and created the secret forum mentioned by Felix.
* This may seem a bit :offtopic:, but as a reminder to everyone it was a question about how to take a good quantity of photos when riding. Either you take many pee breaks and shoot while you pee (endorsed by Motokai). Or like the Dream Rangers crew who endorse the Crap & Ride method, you'll need a support vehicle to take photos/video for you.
[Incidentally, we all remember Felix's ride from Iron-butting from Xi'an to Suzhou - no support crew and no photos taken!]
Thanks Felix on clearing some of it out. I can unstand the craping part, but diapers??? I still think you guys are yenking my chain.
MotoKai, I am sending you a PM about your awesome vedio. Hope you can show some lights.
Dude are you crazy?!? Maybe you like yanking your chain on your boat, but motorcyclists keep that for the hotel room at the end of the day. You're new to this so i'll spell it out clearly for you; don't masturbate while riding!!!
Shitting yourself is fine though.
And by the way, the term 'iron-butt' comes from the steely colour your cheeks usually turn after spending 16 hours macerating in your feces.
God damn son, that's funny, I don't care who you are!
I Googled "yank one's chain" (sorry about the mis-spelling), and according to Urban Dictionary - "yank one's chain" is to fool or kid someone; to pull a fast one. Example given was "I won? Seriously? Are you yanking my chain?"
I used it in this context, nothing more. But then, biker have their own vocabery. I learn what a shocker was from ADV, and they have it on Wikipedia by the way.
I'm sorry if I offended you, but your defination of "iron-butt", that's gross.
Motokai, I got stuck with MCM last night on the PM. I'll try it again today.
You obviously missed this urban dictionary definition of chain yanking:
Yank the chain
To Masturbate.
1. dy245000, stop yanking your chain and get to work!
2. Get out, I gotta Yank the chain
3. All he does is stay in his room and yank his chain.
Anyway, never ever do that while riding WITH OUR WITHOUT A SUPPORT CREW!!!
Sorry, I missed that one. But that's not what I meant.
I'm equally guilty for taking this off-topic and into some uncharted territory (well maybe not for some of you). So in the spirit of motography (whether you shoot on or off the bike), here are a few additional photos of some very fun grassland riding:

Nice pics MotoKai, I see you went for smaller version of the Tourfella's! I thought bigger is better! Same with harddisks no matter how much space I have, I'll fill it.
Thanks Barry.
After much thought I opted for the smaller Tourfella boxes. I prefer them because it gives me a lower-profile which means increased mobility (can still lane split).
While I agree with you on the benefit of added space in the larger boxes, I've seen other JH600 guys with the big boys attached taking down traffic safety road cones when going thru a construction site.
These cones wouldn't stand a chance with the big boxes:

It's all about personal preference. And since my trips are really never more than 10 days so far (week holiday + 2 weekends), the smaller ones are enough. So no need to feel like an RV Camper when riding..haha
In a perfect world I'd have a F800 GS with this setup: Expandable Sideboxes
My main gripe is what Lion already discussed somewhere here on MCM: The Locks
One of the locks broke on arrival, and the other box lock broke on the 2nd day of the ride. Given the high price of this luggage system, I dared not leave them attached to the bike at night out of fear someone would just unscrew them from the inside and walk off with them. Which meant that each time I unpacked the bike for the night, I'd make a 2nd trip down to detach the boxes and bring them up to the room as well. Not convenient at all. I'll be calling Mr. Du up to find a fix, but guessing that he'll just have me send them back for repairs. What I prefer is to come up with a better (higher quality) locking system.
Anyone have any any ideas? Thinking I should ping Master Pfaelzer to see what his team can come up with :naughty:
None of my locks is broken yet, but indeed they could have been of better quality if you look at the total price of the boxes. I am also interested in a lock upgrade, probably most of us are. Furthermore, it would be nice to have a matching topbox.
Regarding the cones, I would say it's the rider not the size of the boxes!
Think you meant to say: Regarding the cones, I would say it's the COLOR OF THE BIKE not the size of the boxes!
So your Blue Bike is into some serious Matrix shit? Really want to see the Blue Bike during "Bullet Time".
When time slows down you can get thru all obstacles - even lakes I hear!
:lol8:
