Call for Ni-Bike Night in Beijing

Thanks for the idea euphonious, and a good one it was too, we had 7 guys show up, more than half on bikes, but it was pretty sedate, just shooting the breeze while those of us that werent riding, imbibed and those that didnt, well didnt imbibe. I would like to do some of both, have a no-bike nite and a bike nite. and I agree, no partaking in the malted beverage when riding, I seem to always find the roadblocks with the breathalizer. Self control has kept me from the pokey several times now, like my signature says, beer after the bike is parked and locked. Simple. I am really looking forward to hooking up with all the guys and hopefully a few more in the upcoming events. Heard some funny stories and I am sure there are a lot more to be told and after enough beverages consumed, some to be made as well. Thanks for coming out and lets get this into a regular thing.

No, actually they were there but for the sake of girlfriends that hack into our accounts, I photoshopped them out, what happens at no-bike night stays at no-bike night. :goodtime:

I've chatted with a few Beijing people here, and we thought about getting another No-Bike-Night happening.

Maybe Wednesday, November 14, around 7:00 PM?

I'd like to meet up with people and chat about a new riders' initiative we have happening here in Beijing.

Let Fahni or I know if you want to make next Wednesday happen, either by PM, email, or posting here.

Date & time: Wednesday, November 14, at 7:00 PM (1900 hrs for you military-types).
Location: Kro's Pizza in Lido (call/PM for directions)
Dress: Sure, if you want to wear a dress, no problem. A word of warning, though, there will be drinking bikers.

Well Thank you very much LJH for that rousing introduction, I will give some easy land marks for arriving at the Kro's Nest, #35 Xiao Yun Lu, we are directly across from the Air China Building which houses the Renaissance Hotel. We are diagonal from the Hyundai Building. From the Sanyuanqiao exit off of 3rd ring road, proceed NE. The first light on Xiao Yun Lu is the intersection of the Hyundai Building and the Air China Building, these will be on your right, proceed thru the light and begin looking left, you will see a sign for Yoshinoya and DQ and then a 30 foot tall Kro's Nest Logo, we are there. Use the EXIT button to open the doors and I will have the reservation set under Marty.

I will pitch in a large Pepperoni Pizza and a couple of appetizers on me, cash bar.

Yes, I have a plan to do the Taklimakan rally again - and no broken bones next time.......!!!
Maybe next year, but lets see how things goes - I have some knee problems ( - or maybe an age problems...:confused1:)
