The 250cc model that is advertised as manufactured by New Everest is being offered by a company in Turkey called Arora.

The model is not advertised on the ZF-KYMCO website, it is however on their Alibaba pages called a Sky Wolf 250cc. Its also on the unofficial website, which may be a marketing effort?

Here is the ZF-Kymco version of the standard Honda Broz, they took off the tank fairing and added a 229cc OHV engine.

This bike is branded Montero which is operating out of Bolivia.
Here is a video of the ZF25GS, this bike has the ZS250CBB engine.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rSKM5BTZtv4
I would have liked to see it recorded with the DOHC 4-valve engine.
They did a balls to the walls test, the strain can be heard at the high rpm. I bet that bike ends up being somebodies personal vehicle. The video was posted on You Tube under a name of one of ZF-Kymco sales reps listed on http://www.tibetmotor.en.alibaba.com/
The reps all appear so young, I have to wonder why they feel so compelled to enter each individual vehicle so many times. In sales they teach to limit offerings as not to over whelm the customer, oddly they seem to be intentionally presenting an overwhelming list of the same things. The ZF250GS listing is duplicated so many times, as well as every other offering they have, that behavior could be see as nauseating/annoying/aggravating to those viewing the product catalog.
Their production was down for 2014 from 2013. They ranked 27th and have close to 1% of total production of the Top 50.
They Ranked 31st in export volume for year end 2014.
The total value of sales of 32M is not substantial and can be seen in the average value of a unit sold at only $560.00 USD.

New Everest Tibet Motorcycle Co., Ltd. |

They have these very young people selling these, I would say that the ZF250GS with the water cooled engine could be a decent bike. It certainly is different, but obviously it being a 2013 model is not at all affecting the companies bottom lines is it. Perhaps it could be due to in part a sales staff that spends its days on photoshop making duplicate ads?
Kymco in China, dropped production by 9.75% from 2013 to 2014, has 0.75 of total top 50 industry production in volume, ranks at 32nd.
Exported in 2014 units at about 76M USD, with average unit value of $805.00

Changzhou Kwang Yang Motor Co., Ltd. |

Companies that make less and pay more attention to what they make and how they sell and support it, earn more.
I see the X-citing 400 is 77,000 anyone know the price of the X-citing 250? thanksss
ZF-KYMCO has a new website.....
They are advertising a 270cc OHV engine in their ZF300GY, they have it rated at
Going through the listings, you could say the new site is another complete disaster, engines that are water cooled listed as air cooled...they even have a copy of a NS200 Baja listed at 19.5KW with a 200cc oil cooled engine, however the image is of a water cooled engine?
Does anyone believe that BAJAJ/KTM copyrighted its designs of the NS200? Somebody may need to explain that to ZF and to companies that sell it.
I suspect that the problem is inherently related to language, those that know the technical are not versed in the language and vica versa. They also do not see the potential ramifications of violating design rights. Probably for much the same reason.
Selling the Honda grom copies outside of China is like selling a poison pill. So is selling copies of the Yamaha Tricker.
It is not that complicated the owners of the design can go after anyone selling their copyrighted designs in court, they can sue for recovery of the damages that being the proceeds of the sales.
I am guessing since so many are doing it, so many other must think that hey it must be safe to sell these, well it isn’t. It is relatively safe in China to make copies and sell them, they operate with immunity and indemnity, however those outside of China well that simply is not the case.
ZF-Kymco is partnering in India, they are offering models under the brand name EIDER Motors out of Hyderbad.
They have the 250 model that looks like a low cost copy of a Benelli TNT 899.

http://i784.photobucket.com/albums/y...77a123b9bd.jpg
Even though the model is not listed on their website, it on their showroom floor.

We mentioned here "K-pipe".
Here's one Chongqing clone - "Cowells" CO150-S9.
OK, it is a bit untidy in details, but they "grafted in" some feisty "big bore" horizontal engine with upper engine a-la "Kawa" KLX 110. :riding:
they did a great job of keeping the exhaust pipe tucked in high around the motor with excellent clearance...as i see most are slung low waiting to bit into the dirt on a dirt road.:gun_bandana:
im totally impressed with Kymco quality and have two...would love to see a 300cc kymco motorcycle...in China
I do not think the KYMCO K-PIPE did well in Europe, KYMCO promoted them in the UK for only a short time frame. They now are only offering the CK1 and Zing for Motorcycles.
The K-Pipe model, I am not sure where outside of the mainland that it is sold? Kymco does not list it in Taiwan so it’s made in China and probably sold mostly there.
In Tawain Kymco is offering a standard that they call the KTR 150, it has the four valve SOHC engine but not the same as they use in their Quannons. The KTR 150 is rated at 1.2hp less @12.8hp, then the 14hp rating of the Quannons.

What I know is the.big diferrence of a 4 valve over a two. More important than the cc size regarding smoothness and feel of the engine
To make it even more confusing, KYMCO also offers a CK1-150 in China that is a water cooled 4-Valve 150 that is rated at 12.9hp, it has EFI.
Pretty basic stuff, what makes the engine smoother is a balance shaft, the addtional valves make it more efficient. However adding more metal increases weight so it all has to be engineered and machined well.
Allot of what Kymco sells is manfucatured out of China, I believe only what is also sold in Tawain is what made there.
as for their partner ZF most of what they make is sold in China, they export to South America and Africa Primarly. They also sell in South East Asia as well, its pretty agressive for them to enter India.
Everyone is always worried about weight...its not a bicycle and you going to load the bike down with gear and luggage anyway.
Ultimately every ride has a different weight
True and why heavy weights like their liter bikes.

Eider is also assembling other models, for example CFMOTO they are offering the NK650 for about 5k USD. Also the Yingang Unicorn for just under $2,000.00 USD.
They are selling these 150cc Scooters that are sold here in the US in droves, they call theirs the Leora 150 for under $750.00 US.
These joint ventures in India, agreements, will likely help many of the now struggling Chinese manufacturers. However the sales of complete knockdowns will not be counted as sales or exports. The real benefit is in the supply chain up stream, and in that maintain a degree of or even improve an economy of scale, keeping costs down.
Seems that Kymco has decided to sell its CK-1 125 and Naked Quannon 125 in the USA?
This seems to be the only dealer advertising these, even the companies USA website does not list the models.
