Re: Jianshe-Yamaha 重庆建设摩托车股份有限公司
They likely bought a motorcycle company or won one in a settlement in a legal dispute? Since Jianshe is held in majority by CSGC it is difficult to see what they are doing. They can shift asset around within that very large group of holdings.
I would guess that they may be shutting down one factory and transferring the assets to Jianshe in Chonqing? Maybe they shut down Zhuzhou Jianshe Yamaha Motor Co?
I doubt that they are expanding through acquisition, they are taking very large operating losses and have been for a few years.

I saw almost all Chinese "engine mainstream" in these motorcycles: here we see "Jianshe", "Qingqi" offers them with GS and GN clones too, also, the inevitable CG clone, as well as "small bore" horizontals, and even enough rare, as I call them, "bent horizontal". And what's interesting, these motorcycles as a whole, look completely organic. Everything is just "as God commands".

Changzhou Hanway Vehicle Science & Technology Co., Ltd.
Established in 2000, Changzhou Hanway Vehicle Science & Technology Co., Ltd. was a cooperative enterprise of Qingqi Group. Sharing group's technology, information, researching and development sources.
The Qingqi group was disbanded, as in broken up, part of which is now part of China South Group. The China South Group includes Jialing, Jianshe and Qingqi.
Hanway still cooperates or is interrelated in the supply chain, it offers at least engines sourced out of the group as well as out of Loncin and Zongshen for the 300cc DOHC single and 250cc SOHC NC engine respectively, they are sourcing out of the Group and outside of the group as well.
The Hanway Classic will be followed by another versions.

I am also wondering…the Junak EVO 300…that may be coming out of Hanway as well.

These are branded, as Junak in Poland and may be branded as Skyteam in parts of the EU. Queen Garden is the distributor for these in parts of the EU. However they are manufactured by Hanway that sources out of the China South Group for parts as does others, like Pioneer. Somoto is a brand name sourced out of Pioneer, that is affiliated with China South through Qingqi.

Yeah, I've seen that "Romet". CG clone engine, about 1200 euros. I like his, so to speak, absence of "bling-bling" effect, in relation to this with a "Jianshe/Yamaha" engine.

Well, this shiny button, cam follower, says to me "I'm CG clone!".

Re: Jianshe-Yamaha 重庆建设摩托车股份有限公司
Zorge, but in the engine serial number is 154FMI and not 156FMI.
You can belive me, many of forum members of China Motocycle Club od Poland wait for change.
Maybe Romet will mount an engine we know.
What more, We can't find information about 154FMI.
Humanbeing supposed it is a YBR clone.
Re: Jianshe-Yamaha 重庆建设摩托车股份有限公司
These cryptic strings of letters and numbers do not say much about the engine type.
For example, 154 FMI: 1 is for single cylinder, 54 is for bore in mm, F is for air-cooled engine, M is for motorcycle engine, I is for displacement - 125 cc. For me, this is marking for, so called "big bore" horizontal engine, but at the same time, this marking can describe also this "YBRahim" engine clone - he is also single cylinder, bore is 54 mm, it is air-cooled, motorcycle engine with a 125 cc. It's all there and it is correct.
Same thing with 156 FMI - this mark share OHV (CG clones) and OHC (CB clones) engines.
Re: Jianshe-Yamaha 重庆建设摩托车股份有限公司
The engine in a picture is not always what is being sold. The YBR125 is 54 x54 as is the engine in the TT-R125LE Dirt Bike.
I believe the Yamaha 125 is rated with more power then the CG125.
The Romet has an OHV, it does not have a Yamaha type engine.

Next Year Yamaha will release their new 950, they are pursuing the classic standard style and adding in the adventure aspect.
New SCR950 will sell for just under $9k in the USA.

Re: Jianshe-Yamaha 重庆建设摩托车股份有限公司
Hello guys.
I want to ask some questions about Jianshe 150-31. In Poland it's available with 125cc engine (it's called Junak RS Pro).
I guess the engine is the same as native 150-31 with different cylinder and cylinder head only.
The problem is that there is no spare parts available in Poland for that particular model.
I'm assuming that most of the parts are the same as in one of Yamaha's engines but I don't know which one fits.
Do you have any idea?
