This is a air cooled single with 12kw?
Will you have this models with the DOHC water cooled 250?
Re: Yingang 重庆银钢科技(集团)有限公司
I am not reluctant to talks about the naming, its another rip off of Honda.
Its Yin Gang not Yin Yang which is all about the balancing the masculine with the feminine.
I find use of logical manipulations amazing, idea stealing not so much. However Karma she is busy, but she alway catches up. The Unicorn is not legendary it would be considered a mystical creature, words do have real and actual meanings.
I like the YG250-NF and the improved model and the improved marketing, in that its improved, it still not excellent.
Good imagery is very powerful.

That's not "crazy little Ducati Monster", but a mere copy of Honda Grom, a.k.a. Honda MSX125!

"Mere copy" of "Grom" can be, for example, this (allegedly) "Jiajue Motrac".

The one MJH posted is, without any doubts, inspired by Ducati. And it is bit... unsightly.

Wow, forget about Yingang and Grom! Zorge's back :naughty::riding:

Oh my, this really looks like stamped frame! Kudos "Yingang"!
If I remember correctly, late Thai "Tiger" made something similar.

Re: Yingang 重庆银钢科技(集团)有限公司
Yingang did a real good job on their MINIS…I cannot see why they cannot make larger versions of this design.
If they have the resources then they could see about bringing the 249cc DOHC air cooled single Radial Four valve into production. That would be the engine that was in the GB250 Clubman.
The GB250 had a great engine 30hp…

The lines of the mini transferred to a larger model with a powerful 249cc air cooled engine.

Yes, it's the same same frame, but still, "Romet’s Benly" (so to speak) design is not elaborated enough. OK, it is funny bike, but to paraphrase Chris Rock - not "ha-ha funny", but "this milk tastes funny".
Alloy wheels - not for this bike, the front fender too. I recognized gas tank - the same is installed on the "enhanced" CD 70 clone that was sold in Russia as a "Alpha Pegasus" (there, "Alpha" is name for all CD 70 clones, regardless of its manufacturer). It looks like they used even the same seat base plate. IMO, they could have done a better job with this bike.

I have to admit that I am not suprised with assessment that the journalist gave in his article. Combing Ru-net and their local moto forums, I realized that the old "Voshod" and "Minsk" motorcycles over time were "overgrown" with DIY details and greatly resemble today's C-motos such is "Patron Partizan". Utilitarian to the bone.
However, according to standards "for the Russian hinterland" this "Partizan" doesn't have "must have" serious chain cover a-la "Jawa/IZh/Voshod/Minsk/MZ" and long and wide mud flaps. :icon10:
P.S.

You read my mind! I've been watching "live" photos of these bikes and my first thought was - "...and how about some 17" wheels...". Despite all, these "buntlings" are interesting C-moto segment.
I have "borrowed" a few photos from CIMA exhibition report.

Puny, no doubt about that. They need some "Honey, I blew up the kid" treatment.
But again, they ate cute. :riding:

Re: Yingang 重庆银钢科技(集团)有限公司
Yingang has a presence in the Russian and Polish markets, they realize that there is a demand for utilitarian offerings, the “Alpha” and “Cabbage Bikes” sell well.
The Unicorn is not making sales is it? It is not a Romet Division but it is offered by Patron in Russia, I wonder why?
I feel that if they offer that NX250 engine in a more utilitarian design and if they can keep the cost down they would sell more.

Now you got me! I'm confused. What do you mean when you say "Unicorn"? This Indian "Honda" CB 150? :confused1:

If you know that the army of the old "IZh" and "Jawas", with its lively 25 h.p., did not get a suitable replacement with the 200-250 cc and 15-18 h.p. C-motos... The conclusion is pretty clear.
I also would like to see some sturdy classic bike with this "Yingang" NX 250 engine (or any modern engine, which is currently produced in China - "Zong's" "Beta" based 250 cc, "Loncin's" "Kawa" KLX 300 or even "old" 400 cc "Xingyue", or even "Asiawing's" 450 cc CRF engine and this "Sineray's" XL 400 engine).

The redesign of the YGR250 "unicorn" may have been intended for Romet as a New Division 250?
New Senke 150 that is a Romet Division.

Re: Yingang 重庆银钢科技(集团)有限公司
If you drill down into articles of moto-magazine.ru, they present some relevant comparisons.
The SYM T2 against Japanese models and also against Chinese models.

Well, "New Division" or not, you must admit that previous design was stuck in the nineties - neither classic nor contemporary.

Yes, they are good. They put effort into presenting small displacement bikes and do not watch them through the prism of a big displacement bikes, which is, IMO, great "modus operandi". On the previous page, you can see photo of a pink mini bike. The gentleman who rides him, Ivan Ksenofontov, writes interesting articles on C-motos.

Maybe because Yingang is not Romet, they are an OEM for Romet, however they do not have rights to the use of the Romet Brand and should not use it on their website?
This is the standard. (zoom)

Romet wrote to me today, "why we "motocykle-125.com.pl" make for them a bad Public Relation".
But i do not see it that way. Everyone would use the situation to publish the "new" protype.
But Romet suggested, it is no prototype of ROMET, that is only a stock motorbike with another fuel tank...and sugested that yingang used romet logo in their own product because Romet is a well know motorcycle producer...
Still, Yingang selled in 2014 over 384.000 motorcycles...
Now I'll have a weak hand with Romet... they promised me a motorcycle for a week, to test and write a review, but now i think they will not keep their promise.
Re: Yingang 重庆银钢科技(集团)有限公司
Century ago, numerous Chinese machine shops were making knock-offs of contemporary handgun designs and all were "Mauser" stamped, regardless of whether the gun was a copy of a "Broomhandle" or not. Maybe it is "Romet's" fifteen minutes of fame and all C-motos will become "Romets". :icon10:

Yea, right... "Well known motorcycle producer". Yes, they are huge in Burkina Faso, Trinidad & Tobago, and especially in Sao Tome & Principe. Is in Poland April fool's day suddenly became a April fool's week?
Jokers...
"Well known..."
