Yeah, I know what you mean, i'm not sure if i'd done that bit first i'd have wanted to ride anywhere else in China! But it was a certainly a very poor ride and i won't be revisiting those provinces even if threatened with death! Next i'm gonna ride the bike back to Shenzhen from Shanghai, i know Fujian is great and Motokai has some cool places starred in Zhejiang so that will be a nice ride and a good way to finish the road riding year for me...before the Guangdong enduro season starts.

Hit me up when you are in Zhejiang, even better if you will have several days, as I am always more than happy to take a fellow peep on some rides round my neighbourhood. Many mountain rides to share here. One day I plan to post all my favourite Zhejiang tracks...

As a newbie my riding skills are too poor to join you guys on a ride, though I would love to see this post with your favorite tracks in Zhejiang. Ill chip in with my favorite tracks around Taizhou and Wenzhou.
Re: 12 provinces in 8 days
Ah, glad to hear you're still going to do zhejiang and fujian. That should sort your head out.

You've been saying that for years!
Re: 12 provinces in 8 days
Awesome report. And job well done!
Honored to have ridden with you through 6 of those provinces: Hubei, Chongqing, Shanxi, Fujian, Jiangxi, Hunan (Good times!)
BTW:
- Shouldn't that rubber chain guard be glued at the bottom so it attached to your swingarm! What's with all the glue on top? lol
- Glad you got to the tunnels. Awesome riding around the Shanxi area.
- All that riding and still had time to see the Baijiu Boys concert - def. best name for chinese boyband.
- Give a shout when you're ready to ride south via Zhejiang (just no bellyshirts allowed for this ride!!)

Re: 12 provinces in 8 days
Many thanks centralmoto, and yes they did. I can't remember how much exactly, i think it was about 100
Re: 12 provinces in 8 days
you have done a great job on the travelling in china. the best bit is G318 from sichuan to LASA and continue G219(All through now). you should have a try.
