This thread is/was an interesting anomaly considering Mychinamoto was so international in scope, but the longest thread was for a bike sold in the US (maybe Canada, too, since the later DF bikes are now sold there) from the US Dongfang distributor. Barnone has come around full circle, as he parted with his bobber, but rides a DF café racer. The nice thing about DF is that they get all their bikes certified around their Zongshen-sourced proprietary 223cc thumper, so not matter which bike you have, considering the engine is the part that needs the most attention, most questions can be answered not matter which full-size DF bike you discuss!

Hey so I’m really new into the motorcycle game and it’s going to be my first one ever. I have seen a lot of videos on YouTube and people have had really good reviews on this particular website and the bikes they sell. I’m interested in one particular bike named the X-22GT. The website said it was manufactured by DongFang. I believe it’s a CBR250 clone. Should I trust it? Would I be wasting my money? If you look at a new frame, you likely need the engine the frame was made for, if it was not made for a particular engine, then i am sure fitting an engine in said frame will be more work than fixing your broken frame.
A property weld repaired frame is little different than a new weld frame. where did it break?

I’m willing to part out my bike since I never have had time to put it back together. All it needs is a.gas tank and battery. But I’m sure people still looking for parts.
is it all apart? if so, how much for the frame? maybe a few other items as well.
should note 2010 and 2012 frames are different. know what you have, know what your getting. mismatch and your going to have to weld anyway.Quote:

Anyone want to sell your good condition low miles DF250RTA? I would pay a little more for a green one.
Hello everyone! Mine is still cruising the streets! Latest mods include, spike riser, cat delete (definitely louder, much louder), H4 headlight, 12v trumpet horn and glass mat battery. Down for winter cleaning. That's my Apollo 250RX in the background. Almost the same engine.

Just rode mine to get state inspected before the freeze, still a great bike. Waiting for the weather to get better.
