That's awesome ! I've wanted a Ural forever ! I'd mount an MG42 Airsoft machinegun or movie prop on the sidecar. http://www.evike.com/products/44006/
My fullsize hack is an R69 Frankenbike.

Took a run out today on the Lifan, still pretty chilly and damp here. Another month or so until Spring, still good to be back on 2 wheels, if a little wet and muddy.
Good to hear that you are out riding.
Its still pretty chilly here but the linging to ride again is stronger than the urge to avoid the cold, on Sundays at least. As i get older I get less tolorant to being cold. Am dying to get back to commuting into work but cant find the strength just yet to ride when its still single celcius fiigures.
Started commuting again last week, managed 3 days out of 5. The days are lengthening and its nearly Spring. Took the Lifan out for a test run yesterday after fitting a larger carb. It seems to be running ok with gentle acceleration. Will see how it perform this coming week.
Do you need to play with the exhaust, too?
No going to leave it as is at the moment. I still have a straight pipe spare and have now picked up an original heat shield so may play around with those two. Possibly use a syraight pipe and fit the heat shield to it, yry to keep the original look going.
Hello all, been lurking about for a few months and since I now have a CT70 clone, I figured I'd join in here where it's a dedicated thread.
OK, I sort of lied, the Ice Bear Champion is actually my wife's but I bought it for her and will be the one fiddling with it, and she's not going to do any gearhead, guy-stuff, forum-surfing anyway. Believe it or not, I had to really badger her to consider it. She's away for Easter and hasn't ridden it since I uncrated it last Thursday. But she did pronounce it "cute," which I took to mean she wasn't instantly intimidated by it. And my neighbor's wife wants to ride it, which will be a nice positive incentive. Hopefully next pic will have her on it!

But I know already it needs better tires for the mostly off-road and gravel road use I (we!) have in mind.
I'm thinking either Shinko 421's in 3.50-10 or IRC TR-1's in 4.00-10, with Shinko 426's in 120/90-10 as an outside possibility. Thoughts? Thanks. -Scott
