Well, with any bike I got I'd change the factory oil and factory spark plugs at once. Maybe I'm being paranoid. Maybe it's all that Chinabike experience. But I'd rather know what exactly is in my bike's engine rather than hope that the manufacturer put some good oil&plugs there (suitable for the bike/brake-in/season/etc)

So clearly the Benelli is the more powerful bike with a more linear power curve, but also it's interesting to note that the custom exhaust really does make a difference. Not only does it give more power everywhere in the ewv range, it also eliminates that massive dip in the torque curve.

I just ordered the bike last week. They claim a 3 months waiting list at Pubei Lu shop. Got it shortened to a month by the Jiazhou Lu/Taizhou Lu dealer...
Let see how it goes...

Definitely starting to see these around town here in Shanghai, not often but every once in a while. Saw a red one two weeks ago, and must say the trellis frame in red looked quite nice.
I do hope that you'll share with us your experience once the bike arrives and you start putting it through its paces. Feel free to start a fresh thread once it comes, since you'll be sharing "facts" with us all rather than "rumors"!

Agree with you with the "rumors" things...I will for sure give you the feedback and hopefully we could drive together one day so you could also have a try by yourself.
I was about to purchase the CFmoto last year but finally decided to go for the YBR250 since it's reliable and easier for daily commuting. As a matter of fact I will keep my YBR for daily usage and from time to time riding the Benelli. Anyway times shows that the CFmoto is not aging very well and that the material quality is very poor...Nevertheless it's for sure too early to judge the Benelli and I'm not expecting to compete with an imported one but want to give a try.
I just ordered a pair of Bridgestone Battlax tires in order to maximize the link between the bike and the road...haha
