Gorgeous day today and its supposed to be a nice night as well, looking forward to the Rutt's Hut Bike night tonight :riding:
I also just finished putting together a photo compilation of the Widow set to Oingo Boingo's Weird Science.

Had it out for a little bit, seemed to run pretty well. A little bit of backfire, but nothing to be alarmed about (that I'm aware of). From everything I've read it doesn't do any real damage. Can any of you gearheads confirm? It mostly if the shifting timing was off (remember I'm still learning) or at times during decceleration.
Fired right up though, seems to have more power and get up to speed a little quicker, it was noticeable, but not extreme

- you probably just need to richen up a bit because you have increased airflow, i think Vince said that before and i know others have said this
- you can cause problems and even danger with extremes of backfire through inlet but minor exhaust burns you describe should be OK if it is from lean mix
I'll try adjust the screw to play with the mixture. Though they're calling for 2 more days of rain again :|
The good news is the weekend is supposed to be beautiful and well into next week as well!
Sounds great man. Is that pipe baffled? Sounds just a tad mellower. Could be the recording though, I imagine it's bit deeper sounding than it comes across as.
If the bike is popping it is running lean. Two easy things you can do straight away. I'd throw a washer under the needle and remove the SAI. It's EASY man. We'll walk you through.
Great first mod!
I think it's just the mic, it was recorded from my iPhone, it definitely sounds better in person.
Is the secondary air intake necessary or just EPA nonsense? I'd appreciate tips on removing it if you think it will help
