Just know you will love the trade up. Too bad you couldn't keep the DF just for fun days. Thanks for all the posts and help. Let us know if you get as much attention. :mikey:

Re monstercraft chain tensioner , what size clamp fitting should i pick to fit the df frame?
Help him out rollenrock. :mwink:
Hit the 1000 mile mark on the odometer today. Just keeps running better and better. The longer I ride it the more confidence I am having in it. and the rides get longer and further from home base. I also switched to the 35 tooth sprocket from the 38. Lost a little umph at mid range and above, but rides so much smoother on the highway I am thinking I'll keep it. I have to post this again. Since I put the screws into the exhaust pipe to keep the inner pipe tight, no more poping out the exhaust. WHy? I don't know. Just something to think about if you have that problem.
Sorry, haven't logged in for awhile. Get the 1" tubing chain tensioner. Just a reminder, I cut off the metal triangle between the frame and the cross support to get it to fit.
Carolina, I got a bill of sale sent with my bike, but it wasn't the one I needed to take to the DMV. That came later from the company I ordered it from. Check with them about the proper paperwork.
Awesome , thanks Rollenrock!!
Also that wooden seat you posted has got me excited ( note I am not trying to copy everything you do)
Wonder if you would slide around on it?
It's so hot here in the summer I am sure that my sweat will create a seal and I won't be able to pry myself off even if i want to. I haven't thought about sliding around on it. I'm short so I sit pretty far forward on the seat, and I feel like I am balanced between the bars, foot pegs, and saddle so well that I am always in control. Sometimes if I'm not paying attention when I start off I feel like the handlebars will pull out of my hands, but I have never felt like I'm sliding around on the seat. Since you are in New Zealand I feel confident that are bikes will never meet up so copy away. If I come out to the parking lot and I have to figure out which bike is mine by looking at the license plate I will start to worry.
