Irish - Can you just disconnect the indicator and get them working?
KB, I will try that, I have tried so many different configuration my head seems to be spinning, but hey anything is worth a try right? Thanks for the tip! Love this site!! You have white grips on your Sh#$t wizard right? What and where did you pick them up?
Keep on riding on!
Well i just ran out and unplugged the indicator blue and orange wires, the signals worked with two stock in the front and two LED in the back, but the moment i plugged in the two front LED NOTHING!!! Puzzling. I have an email out to the Dream Weave ... hopefully i get a call or email back. I am not sure i hooked the wheat bulbs up right that he told me act as a resistor. basically the wheat bulbs take place of the original bulb in the green indicator light! Regardless of the stumping it has presented me I am still have fun and learning! Thanks for the help!
Irish are you using resistors for your LED turn signals ??? If not you can pick them up here : http://www.clevelandcyclewerks.com/t...-turn-signals/ ( you will need to scroll down to the bottom of the page )... They also sale resistors for turn signals at AutoZone and O'Reilly Auto Parts but I would go with the small ones you can get from CCW...
I hope that helps

As per KTM off the FB group he used 2 resistors, 1 per polarity Left pole and right pole, and has them in the headlight housing wrapped in bubble wrap to stop the rattle
Wow never seize to amaze me the help provided by the heist family or heist soldiers! LOL I received a phone call from the Dream Weaver and we walked thru it while I took notes like a good little student. After taking the steps one at a time with Tremendous Tom I realized I made a common mistake when it comes to electrical. Grounding!! I did not ground the wheat bulbs. After going back to square one and grounding them and following the steps to a "t" I had success! Needless to say for my second project I had a blast learning! Thanks guys for everything and just adding concrete to why I purchased a CCW bike!! If you have not worked with the guys at PIT or especially Tom then you are missing out, what a resource and extremely helpful! Next project hopefully will be that Air Ride seat Tom designed. Hopefully next week I will get the seat cause this town riding on a hard tail is not fun on the back. I am hoping to get some pics up to share my Heist with all of you soon! My buddy gave it the name of the "Angry Weed Wacker" because he is a big crotch rocket rider and while changing the exhaust he labeled it that due to the new sound! LOL Thanks again guys for everything.
Keep on riding on!!
Irish, I have said it a hundred times and will say it a hundred more. KIDNEY BELT, even with the air ride seat wear one. You will be surprised in the quality of the ride when you do.
As for the Tha Professor Mr "Dream" Weaver, he is a better guy in person and really looks out for people as does Al the Tha Swami from PIT Motors. you couldn't find better people in the business.
Ride Safe Ride happy
MK2, Dude sweet seat and light. i dig the bowling of the seat, should keep you firmly in place at take off. The light did you make a new bracket or did you cut the stock one to mount it?
Due to lack of time and a plan last night I hacked the stock bracket and made it work, wiring is soldered and done just need to make the new bracket. The seat is pretty awesome, its the eagle west seat that was mentioned earlier in this thread! Big thanks to the one who posted that link! Way more comfotable than the stock one. Next on my list is a new headlight. Then who knows, maybe i'll leave it alone for a bit. Did hit 1000 miles today on a speedo that was swapped over after 689 km on the stock one. So maybe 1400 on my bike? Idk the conversion of km to miles off the top of my head. :)
MK2 i may have a spare 16G stainless steel bracket that was cut extra for my bike that fits that light and the fender mount
Love the seat man! I have been thinking of one from there but white! Bike is looking good man! The conversion is about 1.6 miles per KM. so if you had 689 before you had about 430.6 miles it it at the swap. Keep it up, Maybe sometime we could meet up for a ride since i am in ohio!
Keep on riding on!
I will let you know if im in need of it man. Got an idea in my head for a bracket when I get a moment to do it. Can you post a pic of what yours looks like?
Definitely irish! My girlfriend lives in bellefontaine and im normally there all the time or riding around there especially sundays, due to working for the post office it tends to be my only day off so I ride around all over the place
Casoli Gold CDI = no worky.
Bike just shuts down with it, no power, like it's grounding out. It's a bummer but I'm looking into it. Haven't got the new coil yet.
1 Kilometer = 0.621371192 Miles ,,, US Military is big on using the metric system and I have a Drivers License for both South Korea and Germany...
Here's a easy online calculator : http://www.metric-conversions.org/le...s-to-miles.htm
I hope that helps :icon10:

MK2 I had originally modified the stock bracket to fit my Ford 37 replica and about 2 weeks ago the bracket snapped and i lost the light. Luckily I bought 2 and had a buddy mock up a new bracket to the light on solidworks and laser cut them

Today I finally picked up the Heist! ITRGuy - Bob said you wondering what happened to me last weekend, but today I was finally able to get out there to make it happen. Looking forward to being a part of this crew for support, jabbin', etc. Man it feels good!!!
Scootdog, welcome to the ranks
Welcome scootdog! You will have a blast! Wicked here is one site I had been using as well but it has the conversion using 1.6. the mystery begins for me to find out what is right so I know what i actually have on my bike! http://www.convertunits.com/from/818+km/to/miles another one was http://wiki.answers.com/Q/How_many_k...quals_one_mile. Heading out to the pavement today for a nice ride! My father who is 64 is riding today on the "angry weed wacker" and I will be riding a buddies CBR 600 Smokin Joes. I know I wont be smiling much on the CBR but Dad sure will be loving life. He said no way to riding the 600. LOL The two of us have not rode together for over twenty years. Old Motocross days.... Heading to Mohican State Park for fun curves and hills!! Hope many of you get a great day to ride!
Keep on riding on!
Hey gardo, how much you want for a bracket man? May be interested in one. Also can you give me the specs on how far apart the mounting holes are and size of the center hole? My light looks different on the back than yours does, just wanna check man. Any help is appreciated. :)
Irish,,,
There is no big mystery... The US Army taught me 18 years ago to covert Standard to Metric... Everything the Army Does is in Metric unless we are turning wrenches in the motorpool ( i.e. Shooting Range is in Meters ,,, Ruck Marches are in Meters/Kilometers,,, Map Reading and Land Navigation is in Meters/Kilometers,,, Driving Distance is in Kilometers ) ... If you have ever watched old war movies or listened to some Vets sitting around talking they always refer to distance in Klicks ( Clicks ) or Kilometers with each other... Almost all War Vet stories start out with "No S**t ,,, there I was 25 Klicks ( or whatever number ) from the firebase when the s**t hit the fan"...
1 Mile = 1.62 Kilometers
0.621371192 Miles = 1 Kilometer
Here is a easy chart to use : http://www.asknumbers.com/Kilometers...onversion.aspx
The easiest way for me to remember when ever I have retake the Overseas driving Test for the Host Country is a 10K Race = 6.2 Miles ( all you have to do is move the decimal place over one )
Take It Easy Bro and enjoy the ride with your Dad :icon10: :riding:

So i am thinking about getting my first bike and fell in love with the look of "Tha Heist". Going to take the bike safety course next week. Anything you guys think i should know before i buy the bike?
Sash, my recommendation would be to research the dealer and get a price from more than one if you can!. I wish I would have, my next one I definitely will! Other than that its a great first bike. I have never truly rode till I got one and now I cant bring myself to drive any of my cars! Haha :) def wont regret getting one! :)
MK2, I'll check it at some point later in the day and see what I come up with.
Sach - Welcome, great bikes, beginner or seasoned rider alike. I love my lil scoot. and she draws attention everywhere I go. these bikes are canvases waiting for an artist. I have had mine better than 3 months and have over 2700 miles on her. :icon10: Any questions just ask away there is a wealth of knowledge here.
So I got the bike to Tom and Al and we tore it down almost to the frame. Spent about 10hrs down at the shop going over her stem to stern and just tightening her up.
Played with different sprockets, the bolt pattern on the Heist is different than the over the counter rear sprocket and the front sprocket has a shim spacer that is part of the design. I did replace both the front and rear with new stock sprockets, and also replaced my chain. I swapped out most of the stock bolts with stainless steel allen bolts. shifted the stock tank to a new position and the Widow is looking real old school and hotter. The other thing done today was that I got the head ported polished and decked, with a brand new painted carb.
My widow is a monster now!!! The new compression reading is at 186PSI off this single cylinder. After a few test rides and a chain adjustment i brought her home on my new carrier, which we modified a bit for my truck, took the hitch post and cut it down a few inches to better fit closer to my SUV.
I got home about 11 and was a bit restless so i took off on the bike and hit a local bar, the bike got lots of lovin. After the bar, no I didnt drink alcohol i cruised for a bit and hit the highway. OMFG - I opened my lil girl up on a nice 3 mile straightaway and nearly buried my speedo, I had to back it off.... cause well she scared me LoL.
She sounds throatier, runs must faster, and meaner than before. Weaver is an effing Genius and magician
i have pics and vid, but will post them later. Now I will do a shot of Jameson's and get some slep
Gardo, just because we don''t all post all the time doesn't mean we don't watch and read! Keep up the good work, this is an epic thread, looking forward to the next video.
Holy hell Gardo!
Gardo sounds like the widow is in tip top shape and you had a great day with the boys working on her!! Sooner or later your going to have to put a post together just on what all you have done to her. I know I cant keep track of what you have done and it was your bike and the dream weaver "8 ball" that made me take the plunge. Regardless I love the fact that it can be modified and tuned to run like a beast! One day I would like to do so with mine but until the pocket gets fatter I am going to keep riding with the mods I have done. This way too every time something gets done it will be like christmas and a new bike each time. Cant wait to see the vids and pics. Kevin you finding any luck with your situations and the CDI too?
Air Ride seat install next mon or tues anyone have any pointers? Gardo? Anyone?
Keep on riding on
