Mines up for sale now, available in South Australia should anyone be in the market for one.....
zhu, damn, how come I never thought of that!!! This is what I'll do: I'll test it for a month and see how it fares. Should that nasty stuff build up again, I'll clean it off and Vaseline it for good. If not - bravo CFMoto, your tank cap design has improved.
Now that the weather is good I went out for some riding and bumped into a strange problem - one you rev the bike up to the redline in 1st gear, the engine suddenly bogs down and loses torque. The feeling is as if one of the cylinders has suddenly stopped working. It results in the bike slowing down drastically and, I believe, is very dangerous.
For a test, I redlined my bike in the 2nd and 3rd gear - no such thing happened.
I changed the spark plugs last month and don't see why it should suddenly be happening.
So as I might have written, I changed the right handlebar switch because the "Engine Start / Stop" switch stopped working completely, which resulted in it being impossible to start the bike.
All was good until one day I found out that the left set of the running LEDs was not working.
Here's the pic:

The problem was not critical, but pretty annoying. I rode the bike to the shop I always fix my bikes at, the mechanic removed the front cowl, and... the light worked again. Probably bad contact or something. It was alright for some time. I didn't ride the bike for 2 days because I had to give my wife's Suzuki a spin.
Today I start the bike up, and the light is dead completely: running lights, low beam, high beam don't work. "Engine Start / Stop" switch works fine. Emergency lights button and blinkers (left handlebar control) work OK and switch respective lights on and off.
This feels like a burnt fuse. It is very annoying and potentially dangerous. The bike's not even 2 years old, come on!
Since I am a teacher, I need to take quite a few books with me. Now that I am running a corporate training program pretty much outside the city, I understand that putting the books, handouts for 20+ people and all the supporting materials in the backpack is not such a great idea. So I thought about increasing the storage space of my CFMoto 650 NK.
First, I bought a rack off taobao (ridiculously expensive if you ask me, but good quality

390 yuan with delivery) and installed it. The installation was pretty straightforward: remove the pillion handles - install the rack.
Then I got me a Yohe top box from taobao as well.

The top box was 178 yuan.
I already had a set of MotoFizz bags from 2 bikes ago, so I decided to somehow strap them on as well. The result is:

I am pretty happy with how it turned out, but the top box is too small, I will be definitely changing it for something bitter later. The sidebars are perched against the rear blinkers and I don't like that. One reason is that they obscure the blinkers, another one is that I am not putting anything heavy in them.
The good side of this setup is that the pillion seat is unaffected - the rack serves as grab rails and the bags' straps don't go over the seat like they used to when I first installed them on this bike.
Ou god... That looks like it will do wheelie in stand still! and i'm sorry to say, but it sure does look ugly :/ I have never liked top box on the bikes, side bags are ok but yours sit so far back.
I have been looking this kind of rack from Taobao. -> Rack
They are not perfect, but they do look decent enough.
only problem is that those aluminium boxes are not cheap :)
