I'm getting some crossed info from different sources. You mind noting where and when you personally saw the new QLink XF200 units?

I have two "XP200's" and they are the exact same quality as the XF's but have larger wheels and color-in plastics. The XF's I believe are painted plastics which can scratch and are a little more brittle but if you're not going to drop it off-road then it doesn't matter.

Speaking of dropping it... how is QLink with parts availability and replacement policies on the XF and XP bikes?

I know the "where" is JP Motorsports which is San Diego's Qlink (among others')dealer. At 180 miles from me, they are my "local" dealer, too, for Yuma, AZ.

I called the number you posted for that Qingqi dist., and wanted to get their hours, and website if possible. I was expecting a recording, but some guy answered chewing me out that it was 9:30 at night there (it was 6:30pm in Arizona). I apologized, but still asked him if he had the motards in stock, and he said that they don't carry those, they only stock Qingqi, or something like that. I then said the Qingqi dirt-bikes, and he said he was out. He might just be telling me that to spite me for calling him "late" :confused1:

That is good for me to hear. Although I would suggest being considerate of time zones when you call people on official business, I would hope they would be more gracious or at least more accurate in their information. Did you get the name of the person you talked to?

No name, and don't quote me, because I think I woke the guy up, but he told me their hours are something like 8 to 2 eastern standard time zone. Like I said, I was really expecting a recording, which often give you info such as business hours and a website. Unless, the Qingqi distributor for the US is run out of some guy's basement. Wonder if they brew moonshine, and have a hydroponics pot farm, too??!! :lol8:

It's a warehouse address in downtown Richmond. I'm waiting for some more information from the director of the branch and will post that when it arrives. I also hope to talk more with them about their goals and service "philosophy". :naughty:

Did any one notice that the NEW xp200 has the usd forks, that means the 21 inch rim and tire setup will fit the xf, and the 18 in the rear, wonder if I could get em from q-link, then I could change from supermoto to enduro at please:thumbsup:

culcune was correct. jp is the place and last weekend was when i saw them. they were all prepped and ready for sale so probably there for several days prior.

the only thing i am sure about 100% in relation to the plastic is the flat black one is different. the plastic on the flat black model like i have, is the only one with unusual plastic. it is flat and not shiny, the other 2 bikes (orange and silver) appear to be standard mx style "color-in". i really do not think they are painted. although i have not seen anyone scratch them.

The USD forks on the XP 21" wheels are longer. If you try to put a 21" inch rim on the supermotard forks your ride will look funny. The back end should take the 18" quite fine but you'd need to find longer tubes for the front.

It would depend on how they were spec'd from QLink. The non-Qlink orange one's I saw at the factory looked like they were painted but that doesn't mean they all are.

If they're painted or color-in plastic it's pretty easy to tell just by touching it. Maybe take a second to check it out next time you're smelling around there to be sure.

They are longer, do you know for sure, could you tell me the actual lengths for both please, that way I could determine the right size wheel, I dont care about looks, but there is a reason super motos have 17s and enduros and dirt bikes have bigger and skinnier front tires and smaller but thicker rear tires, the idea in the dirt is to keep your weight off the front and more on the rear, I love the street ride of the 17s, but they are ineffective in soft dry dirt, Would love to have a set of enduro knobbys I could just switch on, Would be the true meaning of DUAL SPORT, Right now I have knobbys on the 17s, they do fine in most dirt, but when you get in super soft and rutted dirt they are not near as good as my dirtbike with 21in front and 18 in rear.
