Re: Helppppppppp!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
fjd, you'll notice that your speedometer reading will be 15 mph/kph high. I think I'm flying down the road and some kid passes me on his bicycle. Jeez. I ordered a bicycle speedometer from Amazon for under 20 bucks and some dude on another forum has excellent instructions on how to adapt it to our Chinese mystery scooters.

Re: Helppppppppp!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
bicycle computer can be very accurate, except most can't be read at dark. I have installed one with magnet stuck to disk break and sensor tied to front suspension tube.
Re: Helppppppppp!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks for the help peeweeaz. I'd love the links to assembly instructions. fjdmason@gmail.com
I have an extra fender???? It's small - maybe they are offering a choice. None of the pictures on scooterdepot.com show it. Perhaps it's a Chinese helmet???
Thank you human being. Got some assembly instructions from roketa.com that helped A LOT!
Re: Helppppppppp!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Got me, slabo. I never did either. Here's the link.

Hey, fjd. Me too. I have a blue bike and a black fender attached. I have a blue fender that I don't know what to do with. What a ride this has been, eh?
Re: Helppppppppp!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
fjd, I'll send you the assembly links that I have to your email.

Yeah, what the heck? I didn't look like you could take the black fender off and fit the blue one on. Anyway, I got the thing together, (well, as together as I can), and took it for a little test run. So far, so good. It sure has been a LONG strange trip, indeed!
Re: Helppppppppp!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks peeweeaz. I got 'em. Lots of useful maintenance stuff. Love the quote at the top: "I just ordered/received my scooter, now what should I do?" After unpacking everything and surveying the situation....well the answer was to go drink a beer!!!!
Re: Helppppppppp!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
fjd, funny you should say that cuz if you read back a few days on this thread, that's exactly what I said during my troubled struggles with the mystery scooter. By the way, I really like mine now that it is on the road. I'm having a problem getting the left mirror stabilized. Doesn't want to seat itself - this is after lock tite and a split washer. Oh, well back to the drawing board on that one.
