No, the quote for shipping to Africa not USA and the model is also different. For USA its upgraded version with front LED and other new features.

USD is United State Dollar is the medium of exchange since RMB is for China and Tsh Is Tanzanian (Africa) currency. So to have a mutual understanding of currency rates we use USD!!
FOB is Free on board meaning:

Oh I misunderstood, FOB typically is followed by a port, it represent were the cost obligation of the supplier ends.
So for $1900 they will get it to a port in china?
Then you would have to pay for an export agent to get it to Tanzania and through customs there. That price is high and if you add all the additional cost you could end up paying over $3,000 USD for it, plus the import tax in Tanzania is the CIF plus 20%.
I thought about importing a single bike, but I won’t because of the regulations, without an agent assigned as the importer/distributor/agent of process, the bikes cannot be legally registered in the USA.
I personally believe that all the imports should be required by law to have digital files that support them, for example online parts diagrams and parts lists as well as technical service manuals.
The big issue is that of “what if” as in what if it is a real lemon and in that even dangerous to ride? So that is why the authorities want them registered and in that manufactures and their distributors assume the responsibility and in that the liability. They are required to keep track of what they sell and flag any faults they see coming back as service reports from dealers and in that take corrective actions.
I like the bike…..I would like an all black one with no decals…but I also want somebody standing behind it for legitimate support.
They often do not offer these motorcycles with legitimate support because people will take it without support if they can get it for less…it never ends.
Then behind all this is factories working people to death, sleep deprived under trained, under supervised…you end up getting loose bolts and bad welds and worse yet poor metals that are either to brittle, too soft or machined with wide variances.
All that can be addressed and so can the systems supporting them…but it cost money and in that the prices go up…actually that is a fallacy because the opportunity losses are much higher. Getting it right and keeping it all straight is what builds a reputation. In that it all has to be mapped out and never disconnected.
From the supply line to the consumer has to be monitored and with information systems it is only a matter of process,. It is all data in streams and in controlling data you attain efficiency and control costs.
