To all friends at MyChinaMoto.com:
I invite you to share with me the trip I did to the land of Kalunga. Check it out at - http://www.caldas.com.br/30anos/motard_kalunga_engl.htm.
Thank you.
Thx for posting that, it was a very good read.
Hi chromedioxide and all "China Moto riders", "late but not least". Finally I am getting back to you with something relevant. In this photo I am collecting my bike, after the 15.000 km maintenance service, at Moto Limongi - Sundown dealer in Goiania - GO - Brazil.
See how my bike is in pristine condition (check link below), after clocking 15.000 km. As the time passes the black colour of my bike´s rims is fading out and this nice copper colour is becoming apparent. Nice combination that I am getting for free, isn´t it? At my right is Marconi - Customer Service receptionist, and at my left is Janio - mechanic who looks after my Motard. Cheers from Goiania - GO - Brazil.

Ricardo,
The gold rims are sweet! It's like a martials arts black belt, the longer you ride it, the more the color changes!
The bike looks like new! How did you keep the header/exhaust pipe from rusting???

Hi CrazyCarl, I normally use a liquid wax called Auto Brilho over the whole motorcycle: plastics, rims, engine, etc. It's a very good product that creates a thin protective layer over the surfaces in general. It's worth mentioning that the I live in a region where the air humidity is very low - thus resulting most of the year in a very dry weather. I am sending the link below for you and all. Cheers.

Thx for the update Ricardo, she's looking really good. Love those coppertone rims.
To all MyChinaMoto.com riders
I invite you to check my most recent trip, to attend the Megacycle event at São Lourenço - MG - BRAZIL, with my Sundown STX Motard. My bike is nearly clocking the 18.000 km mark, and is performing really well. All details are available at this new page of my website: http://www.caldas.com.br/30anos/mota...cycle_engl.htm
Cheers

Ricardo, excellent report! keep on riding, and keep the reports coming!!:riding:
I second that! Excellent report and an inspiration to all riders... not just riders of Chinese motos!
You've put some serious km's on your motard and it seems to be holding up well! I think you are totally right about passing people with bigger bikes. With most bikes you can either ride faster or ride longer. Riding fast for too long can be fun but sometimes not good for our health! :lol8:
Cheers,
