Not a parody on you, of the music, it’s not that Divino Messiah is humorous other then it is not translatable, since it’s in bad Latin. Is it the same music behind both? If the Pope hears Divino Messiah does the pope smile or twitch?

Both, as forementioned Orff and Era?
Era is Era - those Frenchies we know, and Orff is Carl Orff, gentleman who composed music for cantata "Carmina Burana", which is almost all on Latin. Proper one.
The X250 was a Crowd funding initiative, they took orders for about 300 and these purchasers are all waiting. Waiting on manufacturing certificates and such, the enthusiasm is waning.

Not sure why orders fell from 304 to 226, reading along it may be that 78 backed out. Preorders required a 1000 deposit and the long wait time caused some to cancel and those requested a refund.
If you read along on the forums the factory explains away some of the apprehension, the deliveries should begin on the 20th of April. I believe that is what I read, the translations are not that clear.
Crowd funding is a way for a factory to raise the capital through deposits, they raised initially 300,000 RMB and refunded 78,000 on canceled orders. They as it seems require the entire amount for delivery in total
2,255,480.00 CNY = 348,197.75 USD
Which is a significant amount of capital…
Each order for
9,980.00 CNY = 1,540.65 USD
Today there are 226 orders outstanding.
Crowd funding is a relatively new practice, the internet makes it much easier to get the needed exposure and subsequent orders. The prices offered are pretty close to factory wholesale prices, but for single orders.
Retail prices of that type of vehicle would be typically more at
14,000.00 CNY = 2,160.99 USD
To be really successful at crowd funding a factory would need to offer up some support, offering up parts on a designated taobao page or better yet a designated website. It should offer up schematics and in that indexed parts, all parts and sold direct out of the factory that makes the bikes.
300 placed an order, 145 canceled their orders, got refunded and 155 got their motorcycles.
The factory opened sales, calling it round two.

6,080.00 CNY = 913.791 USD

Seems they raised the price on the 250X to just under 12k Yuan, up from the initial price of under 10k. Huange is testing a 300cc version, with the Loncin 300cc water cooled DOHC single. This article claims it will retail at the same price as the 250?
