Sorry, don't have the YK link. Asked my wife to search for it on YK, let's see what she'll come up with.

OK, thanks. Didn't mean to cause trouble. I saw the youku logo in the upper right corner, so I assumed that's where you found it! I had a look through youku myself, but didn't find it.
Damn this firewall!
Original link in youku seems DEAD.

thanks, human. that was worth the wait! the guys in the car said they were all rolling along at 100kph. unbelievable.
how did you manage to find this clip?
thanks again to chinabiker for posting.
You must have a powerful anti-firewall strategy. My VPN (yes, I know, ChinaV told me VPNs are for sissies) is now almost useless in recent months. If I can get it to connect, performance is so slow that it's worthless for bandwidth-intensive sites like YT. Need to find me an offshore prahkseee....
During the construction of our factory :lol8:
Not too much concrete arrives at the top :confused1:
Thank you, that is a classic video! I had allook at your other vids. You are a strange bloke indeed, saying 'miaow' to the border guy (or his dog?) but Claudio is weirder, pedaling his bike across the water then ... well!
Looked strange to me when I came round the corner and saw this

I wonder what this guy did to warrant this punishment ...

For those foreigners who haven't developed squatting muscles ...

Well, this isn't in China ... next-door neighbour ... 13 guys on a bike (maybe an Enfield? hard to tell)
Attachment 1937
where do I get one of those?
i still think the family of 8 on the bike is a spectacular shot. These guys ain't out to prove anything, they're doin' it because it's the only way to cart 'em all around! i like the kid up front and the kid hangin' off the back!
In a similar vein, I made this image last week during my ride from Shanghai to Beijing. This was somewhere in Shandong or Hebei, I think. I reckon there are 20 or 21 "passengers" on that vehicle, not counting the driver, wherever he is.

cheers
Well hell, at least they are mainly all wearing helmets! And their concrete truck on the left running interference for them on the left flank helps a lot. 8 on 2 wheels, 21 on 3 wheels that should be 30 or so in a small car. I await the picture ...
Thanks for that observation, TD.
Believe it or not, I shot this while riding. I'm slowly mastering the technique of having the camera slung around my neck, and quickly picking it up with my left (clutch) hand, holding it from the back with my fingers across the top, and hitting the shutter with my index finger. Yes, a couple of these guys did notice that I was doing this, and smiled. I have two other images from this series if anyone wants to see them.
cheers
I was on the East 5th Ring side road when I saw this speed limit.

Here's what i don't understand: that long bar is designed to stop vehicles that are too tall to go under the bridge right? So how did that truck drive under the bridge and clip it on its way out?
Good point. If it made sense it wouldn't be china!
