I think that is true, barnone, about people paying some more--look at Johnny Pag's choppers. MJH, I am waiting to see what the Qingqi 250 motard will be priced at (if that is what you mean by "Suzuki OHC"). I used to have a '91 (or '92 DR250s, I don't remember--I'm getting oldish :wheelchair:) and I would love to own the 400 motard from Suzuki, but can't afford it, so the 250 Qingqi is as close to those as I am going to get. However, I would settle for the 200 XF200 Qlink or the competing Pitster Pro 250 motard if I couldn't justify the extra cost of the CCW, assuming they don't budge on the price :deal:. No they haven't priced them yet (they're not even offered here yet), and I do expect them to be priced above the XF200; it's just how much above will be the final deciding factor between the CCW and the Qlink or the Pitster Pro :riding: .
I have not been to the dealer yet…
I like the software they are using for locating dealers.

Order you Heist from
http://www.gekgo.com/heist-250cc.html
because they have the
"Displacement249.2cc
Max Power18.2HP @ 5500 RPM
Electric with Kick Backup
Balanced High Performance 250cc Lifan Chrome Engine".
What happens when you buy it and find out it is 229CC without kick start?
That site trips me out….they have the Zongshen Sierra for $1,495.00

Those are cool they have a Zongshen version of the Yamaha TW200 engine….
Notice it’s linked to Bike Bandit….through the linked called “OEM Parts Wizard” Then also linked to another site that has all kinds of parts .
The specs on that are made up...the bore and stroke are the Suzuki 250 specs....

I'm sorry, the first page of this thread had me cracking up. Very interesting. It's un-american to take your time and think things over...or is it? hahaha cheers.
Thanks of this, was very interesting to watch pro doing lights for bike studio photography.
Can't they do some regular photos and videos instead of this artsy fartsy stuff?
They should considering most of the low end clients are Hill Jacks.
MJH, still feeling sore? Now you know where 'grumpy old sods' come from.
What does urban dictionary call grumpy, borderline anti-social, tequila swiggin', fixated, bike esoterica enthusiasts? :icon10:
Well, the public seems to like having slick photos of everything, including when you are going for a certain "look" and "mood" as CCW is, so this is the result. CCW has been getting some mainstream press, such as Cycleworld, and distributors like to make slick posters for dealers to hang, so this is the norm. Besides, the photos put out by the Chinese bike factories often time suck....
Dear MJH,
Nice to see you posting again. Hope this means you're over the worst of your injury.
cheers
As for motography and advertising, I too much prefer action/life images to studio shots. Here's a nice gallery from Zero electric bikes out in California that shows both. What do you prefer?
cheers
I'm better...in OTR to regain the range of motion...it sucks and I cut back on the 1800. I am not a mean drunk...actually a silly drunk.
For those of us that have witnessed the lack of professionalism related to Chinese Motorcycles....CCW has to address that as in the industries reputation precedes them?
The Honda Rebel is a 233cc twin....not a 250 FYI, I would not want anyone to be mislead.
Definitely the action shots--CCW have lots of photos of their bikes in action--in various magazine's online articles, not their own photos. I can see the 'look' they are after; the gritty, biker retro look and feel for their product. However, they could have the bikes out and about rather than in a studio; with a hot female in skimpy clothes draped over it. :mwink::clap::thumbsup::28:
Hey guys I spoke with Brett from CCW and let me tell you a real nice guy, invited me down to the facility to check it out and the bikes first hand.
Brett and Alan of CCW actually have read this board and pointed it out to me, hell he even recognized that I was the guy who got screwed by scooterdepot and the illegal copy of their bike http://www.mychinamoto.com/forums/sh...3490#post23490
Brett wanted me to thank all the guys for the support on this thread esp MJH.
In the 40 minutes that I was on the phone with him I got a good feeling and will be heading down on Friday. i will bring my camera and see if they will let me take some shots to post.
Will keep you all informed
Be sure to call in on MJH ... don't try and shake his hand though, it'll fall off.
Hopefully all is well that ends well. Good to hear they read on here, amongst all the BS and arguments and fun we make a lot of sense collectively.
