Interesting site, with lots of pictures how the Benelli looks like "under the plastics".

Last post on that thread is August 1. A shame as they were mentioning some future modifications. They certainly don't like the welding job on the gas tank "油箱到处可见未经打磨的“焊屎”!Something about "welding feces"? :lol8::mwink:
Hi... i'm from indonesia. they already open up the show room here, i plan to buy benelli bj600gs too...
i had already booked their silver blade 250cc scooter ( keeway benelli) and want the 600gs...
but i will use the bj600gs in heavy traffic in indonesia... is it posible to use bj600gs in heavy traffic with lots of stop and go?
thanks all
Hi there, I have a friend who has just bought the Benelli Silverblade 250 maxi scoot. I saw it in the flesh last Sunday. After a quick little ride around, I found that it is quite a lively scoot, but very short in wheelbase compared with my Jetmax, and Burgman Executive(s). The wheels are 14" front and rear. The cubby in front is really small and very shallow, can't stash much in it. The key release mechanism for the seat is quite temperamental, I couldn't get it to unlatch the seat, but my friend could. The top-n-tail design of the high versus low beam lights is really different. Air filter sits on the left side of the rear swingarm unlike the Jetmax's airfilter positioned under the forward portion of the seat - design.
I think that overall though the handling is quite good, and would definitely be more suitable for riding round town and dealing with stop & start traffic than a BJ600/QJ600 would. You won't have to worry so much about gears, clutch and the grabbing of a chain final drive. YMMV.
My same friend has 3 BJ600's sitting in his garage, owned by his nephews. They don't ride them around town/city... instead they use scooters for that type of riding.
Hi Bikerdoc... its a very great input...
thanks it's really help...
btw can it possible to use bj600gs for stop n go in traffic? because i try to just idle it for about 45minuts and H2O warning start comeout at the lcd...
and when i turn the key off the water start steaming from the radiator waste pipe under the crank case...
i dont know is it ok or just the model in that show room made that wierd steaming...
thanks again...
Hi guys, that's such a disaster has occurred here in Russia, one of the owners of Benelli 600: (

That has to be some sort of Hydro lock issue. Water or coolant leaked into the cylinder and water does not compress.
That was my initial thought as well, but no start motor will have the force to do such damage with one of the chambers "locked", and it can't fill up so quick during normal running.
Or it was a catastrophic valve failure, the valves blocking the piston from rising.
That might happen when you rev engines in neutral at their rpm limiter for a longer time.
Seems a popular doing on youtube and youkou.
Must be a lot more behind this story ... very interesting to know ...
