They have mine, the 2012 listed at 2259.00 but when I called and asked why the one (2010) that was for 2075.00 looked the same as the 2259.00 bike he said he'd give me the 2012 for 2075.00., so I jumped. With the free shipping it really worked out good. My MSO came from Sunny Motors AKA Scooter Depot.
Now they have taken the 2010 bike off but I have the listing as I saved it. Now they show the 2010 and are asking 2259.00. The specs are different and messed up is all. You get the 2012.
Sale went without a hitch.
I finally found a website with the 2012 DF250RTB-B on it www.chinamotor.com. It is the best pic I found. it's under the cruisers. The dealership that I am getting mine from told me he would get it for me for $2,400.

O'reilly had the red hose and told me it was much stronger than what I had on it so that may be a good way to go for you.
Got my new air filter and damn it sexy. I noticed the stock one has no filter media at the head and that worried me. New one has an end cap to eliminated that problem but appears to be the same filter media. Both filters are China made. If it starts to rust like the stock filter did I will switch to a chrome / foam filter for a few dollars more.
Had a hard time starting my bike today so I put it on the charger. Battery might be my next upgrade. Finally got it started after a charge. Also had to tighten the chain as my bother noted it was too lose. Didnt even notice that. They say 1/2 to 1 inch slack. I was almost in the 1 and 1/2 inch area so I tightened it. Thats the thing with this bike, you really have to inspect it before every ride to make sure everything is tight and in order.
I let my brother ride it the other day and he made a comment about speed shifting. He said not engaging the clutch it seemed to shift easer and that would save wear on my clutch. My heart skipped a beat when he said this as I never heard of speed shifing. I thought doing that would destroy your clutch or transmission. Any thoughts on this?
When I used to race motocross we would always shift without the clutch under full throttle. I can also shift my saab without using the clutch, it just takes practice and you have to match the revs. The same can be said for down shifting also. It definitely is doable and wont hurt your tran/motor if you do it properly... but properly is the key

Hey other-Bob :P
Do you know what size the crank case tube is? I know the GY6 motor is 12mm so i would guess this would be similar. I need to order a mini filter for it. Bike is coming friday at 5pm ^.^

Thank you, changes to come. I originally wanted the flat black. But I'm gonna think of some thing unique to paint it plus fender mods.

I'm looking forward to reading about your adventures with the bike, and lots of pix -- including side-by-sides of your bobber and your harley!
cheers
euphonius,
I lurk here sometimes. Almost sprang for one of the new 2012 Dong Fang's but holding off for now.
