Make SURE that you will be able to register/title it in New York. Their are a few states that will NOT allow this because it is not C.A.R.B. (calif. air research board) approved.
My state was one of them and NOT listed on the purchase web site.

ok this picture is not my bike. the only fast example i got rite now without doing the whole camera thing. up load, down load, side load, wide load.
notice where the circle is and arrow. make sure your throttle seating is seated proper in the little housing thats made for it. when you tighten that nut, if needed, let the cable fall in its own comfortable area first. did you change your bars? the cable could also have tension or pressure on it. let it flop freely. and, that other long nut is for adjusting tension to the carb. make sure that is not too tight. it needs a little play. you can tell play by if you turn your throttle just a teenie bit before it activates the carb. you need play in the throttle. then move the cable. does it flop freely? dont have it all pinched up with other wires to make it look clean and cool, the throttle cable must have its own space to live a good life. the one in the picture is tied all up and if that one works, good. looks to me like there will be tension when wheel is turned back and forth. so let us know how it goes with this. if the first mentioned part (in red circle in pic) is not seated in there, thats it.
i am going to figure out how to post mini vids in here for other suggestions on other parts.
