Jers its a yes and no. Its true that the Heist Misfit and Ace were developed here but they are manufactured in Qingqi Rhon facility with Qingqi CPIassisting to get the Misfit into production. There were a few early 2010 Heists that had the RHON engine covers, matter of fact the Shit Wizard has those covers.
The original Heist's name was the Rokker, CCW sells their bikes in Gernmany under the Rooker name, France as the Hoolister, and the Misfit in the EU market is the Aster. If you look who is posting the vid its by one of Kikker's guys and the dude who he is prompting doesnt know a damn thing about the bikes at a trade show it looks like so the video's in my opinion are in question.
Here is an entry from CCW's Blog
Here's a video for you to take a look at

The Heist was designed and developed by CCW but the misfit, hooligan and others were probably just picked from available bikes. A few simple tweaks to give them the CCW style. Thats business.
In regards to the other names, I think CCW answered this question before saying CCW makes money no matter what the bikes are called.
In fact Kikker does the same thing:

you know I just checked my speedo and have realized that I have done about 9000km this season on my Heist she has held up damn well. I've taken my lil darlin interstate running a few times and she's always pulled through for me. best purchase I have made in 2011
I look forward to riding her through to April 2012 and continuing this adventure
My lil Biker, gotta start em young

They work here in China, though only with a grandma-buster. Maybe try another browser, like google chrome.
cheers
I started reading this thread when it was at 105 pages. Read the first 104 over the past week. It was like watching the full series of sopranos back to back to back. Great watching everybodys bikes evolve. These things are so cool and i plan to get one...some day. Im currently a broke and deep in debt grad student without a place to store or work on one. Im way out in west texas but one of these seems like it would really shine back home in the mountains of wnc. This thread has got my mind spinning on what I plan to do when i get one. Is the gold a production color in the US? I seem to see them more on the ccw blog with the swiss and south african dealers. ive been trying to save money at the end of each month but i have a habit of blowing it on guitars/basses/banjos/anything i can make noises with. We'll see what I can pull off
Welcome Brownbuff. We all started in your shoes man. Put away that money and don't touch it forget it's there, it'll add up before you know it. Mean time do your school work and photoshop some Heists.
As for the gold, I think in the US your choices are black or black, lol. Removing the fenders and tank for a quick spritz of gold is no problem at all. We can help you when you're there. First step, sock that cash away man.
GARDO sweet links and cute kid brotha!
Here's my older one, he's got his signature down there in the paint!

Hello Gardo, just bought the Heist and Tom Weaver is working his magic as we speak. How has your bike Ben holding up? Hopefully as nice as it looks. I am super excited, as my bike looks like my dream bike, just at a fraction of the cost. I am really curious how other owners feel after putting on some miles?
I got my Heist back on 07-30-2011... and today, I put my first mile on it. I have been so insanely busy that I haven't had time to ride, and since the weather was amazing today, and I took off from work, I decided to take the bike out for a spin before the snow starts falling. The bike is an absolute blast to ride, and a real head turner! However, I did notice that the shifting is quite horrible. My friend noticed this too when he took it out for a spin. The bike is a pain in the ass to get into neutral, and I am also getting false neutral indicator lights... where the neutral light is on, but the bike is actually in gear. My friend said that the bike didn't feel like it was shifting all the way into gear... especially third. Anyone else have any issues? The bike had about 5 miles on it when I got it. Does it just need to "break in", or should I drop it off back at the dealer and have him deal with it? Thanks in advance!

If it's new it will get better with some break in. Your dealer should be able to help.
You can adjust the shift rod, that helps a little. The spline should on the motor should be vertical or close to it. The rod should be as horizontal to the frame and straight as possible. Even then, it can be a bit dodgy. Nice fresh oil helps also. If you are trying to get it at a light, give it a little rev as you are shifting into N. Also try letting the clutch out to roll the bike forward a few inches then into N.
Here are a couple pics of my bike in progress. Should be riding next week!

BEAUTIFUL!! The red rims and whitewalls are exactly what I want to do as well!! Questions... Are the rims powder coated or painted? If powder coated, did you have to take all of the spokes off first or did you tape them all off? What color red is that? Are the tires painted or did you buy them white already? If you painted them, any tips for doing so? Thanks!
Thanks Steeltoe - Tom Weaver of Weaver Rides is doing the work, so I can't take any credit other than the theme. The rims are painted and the tires are true white walls. There is no dealer near me so I bought the stock bike directly from PIT and Brett put me in contact with Tom Weaver to customize it for me. The bike will be shipped to me in Austin on Monday. Tom also jetted the carb and painted it red. I also had the seat springs and motor mount painted red. The air horn comes stock in red.
This will be a great change for me as I have an Harley Ultra Classic for taking longer trips with me and my wife. I have missed having a "cool" bike, but for this money you can't beat it!
Sgt Barrow, first up Welcome to the MCM boards, the CCW tha Rider family. And my personal favorite the Red Carb Club LoL
Spoke with Tom yesterday and he was exited about your build, seeing the pics i can see why. Its a nice looking ride man and you are gonna have a blast on her.
I have aprox 6000 miles on my scoot the widow and she is running strong, lots of fun and able to keep up with the big boys for the most part as long as they're not pulling 100 mph all in all I'm very happy with the bike. Outside some painting and one or two small cosmetic changes I will be doing over the winter she's complete.
Not sure if this was posted yet

The bike is finished! Kick start & electric start / jetted carb and G & D exhaust, red rims and white walls / air horn / LED barke and turn indicators / 15" ape hangers / painted springs / oil tank and engine mounts / over sized head light. Man I am so happy with PIT and Weaver Rides. They treated me great all through this process. Highly recommend to anyone wondering. They sent me photos and worked with me every step of the way. Tom Weaver even through in some extra's at no cost, best service I have ever had!

Awsome photos. The bikes are going to really catch on, so long as the reliability factor is good, as they have such great potential for customizing at a price point that can't be beat. I cant believe PIT is having difficulty finding a distributor in my area. Austin has a gigantic biking population with our great weather year round. I know there are a lot of people waiting to see how my bike works out because they are amazed with the look and price ratio. For anyone looking for a custom bike without breaking the bank, this seems to be an unbeatable product.
Those two bikes hit the nails on the head. So much going on with the lil trumpy lookin one.
Got a big package today.http://i1088.photobucket.com/albums/...1/01ec4b3b.jpg
Opened it and was happy to see my new ride.http://i1088.photobucket.com/albums/...1/58c4795b.jpg
Now she is at her new home with her big sister...started up first kick and runs super strong. Weaver carb work is the way to gohttp://i1088.photobucket.com/albums/...1/538e66a5.jpg
