I'm hoping I can find someone to buy one from privately or a dealer or something. Hopefully Carl hears back from the manufacturer cause I sure would like one.

I am still waiting for Carl to get back to me when he hears back from the manufacturer.
I would be in for one of these...
Hi Carl,
Any word yet on the rack ?
Unfortunately not despite more than a few emails. I may have to go about this differently. :deal:

MICRider, I see you are from Alberta. Did you have any problems registering your bike? I just order a SM200 Motard from Toys4Boys in Calgary. They are going to ship it to me in the crate. I am fairly good with wrenches so it shouldn't be to big a deal to setup. Didn't charge me any dealer setup. Coming to Grande Prairie. Hope it is here this week. Bought it for my soon to be 16 year old daughter. Hope to get her into riding with me on my KLR 650.
I´m 1 piece. But... in Spain!
If any user need it, i can send. I remember it cost me about 50€ whit transport.
Regards.
No problem registering it at all. You should get a piece of paper with it (I think it's called an "NVIS"?) from Toys4Boys and that's pretty much all you need. My insurance company (Wawanesa) quizzed me a bit about it to make sure it wasn't a crotch rocket but other than that no problems. I laughed about the crotch rocket thing at the time, but when I got my KLR, Wawanesa refused to insure it outright saying that it had "sport bike like qualities". Wawanesa seems very paranoid. Great little bikes the KSM200's, your daughter is going to love it! They're geared quite low, your KLR will probably be in first, and the KSM will probably be in 2nd or 3rd to keep the same speed. I regret selling mine when I got the KLR, I thought I would never use it anymore so let it go for $1000 less than I paid (and I hardly had any km's on it). I really wish I had hung onto it for tight trailriding as my KLR seems a little heavy for that. I bought mine from a dealer... Think I paid $2700 all in with the enduro tire package. That thing purred like a kitten... I miss it.
Cheers,
Stew
Edit: Oops, I meant to reply with a quote to spooks post... I accidently hit quick reply instead.

I had to trim the bracket down and drill new holes to fit under the rear cover. Used some tubing for spacers and longer bolt on the rear.
Painted the rack black and drilled another set of hole in the rear to lower it a bit and let the brackets tuck under the rear plastic better.

Another choice that might take my mods and fit

I have an XT225 with a rear rack so I was able to eye ball the modifications necessary to make the rack fit.
