Here is the thing, Alliance will never get anywhere with the T2, SYM has no intention of going beyond the 250cc and in that it is a dead end. They should seek an Alliance with Bajaj ? As for the 150cc SYM it was over priced as a novelty bike 3k was simply too much for that, conversely the 150cc Bajaj Boxer priced well under 2k would do much better in the USA, still a novelty but not in a trying to be cool sort of way. The Boxer 150 is just simple and utilitarian.

I would say that having a partnership with a company out of Taiwan is fine, but will not be as potentially lucrative as one out of India. I have to wonder if anyone is approaching Bajaj for a distribution contract in the USA? Alliance could really expand its sales network with the Bajaj models, first the 200 and then the 400cc models. I am a bit peeved that these sweet little 200cc models are not offered here in the USA. I would say getting the 200cc and using it to establish more dealers would be fruitful as Bajaj has larger bikes in the pipeline.
Alliance is Lance....
Lance is offering a new line of scooters called a CABO and the are nice and priced reasonably.
Makes you wonder....the Lance CABO is the real deal and the Bintelli Havoc is the low end copy?
I am so sure that the Lance are made in China and so are the Bintelli but wonder if they come out of the same factory?
They are probably riding :scooter:(no pun intended) on their reputation in the scooter industry (SYM's reputation) and the looks--but my guess is they will have to discount no matter what. I forgot about the 300F being introduced after the CBR300 (and we even discussed the 'F'!!) :confused1:
I am still liking the Suzuki TU250x, but if I was going to finance, I would go for the new GSXR 750 naked bike they are introducing this year or early next year.

SYM has two new offerings.
Both have a 278cc single cylinder water cooled Engine.
One will be the T3 (300) which is a T2 (250) with a larger 27hp 278cc engine.
