Re: ZONTE
How about a yellow one and then you could call it Bubble Bee.

The Frames on these are manufactured with robotic welders.

"All automatic robot wielding technology combined with Low splash welding technology make the frame of Zontes250-S never to be welding deformation. What’s more, it is clean inside the frame to form a natural sump."

Re: ZONTE
Nicer welds are more than welcome, no doubt about it, but if "Zontes" can bring to the buyers this bronze and copper tones, or bordeaux red, maroon, and, in general, all earth tones, it would be awesome.

Re: ZONTE
They really should consider more designs for the use of that engine, a classic standard and a dual sport. They should not rest on their laurels, the market has segmented tastes. That engine is suitable to propel more than one model. They should have developed a few simultaneously and engineered the assembly process to alternate the production of the various models.
I do not believe that the segment that wants to ride on a transformer would necessarily want earth tones, they typically would want vibrant colors, like bright yellow, red, orange etc., to me that design could have a black engine, forks, handle bars finishes… with vibrant colored body parts.
None the less, the people behind the development of this product took the task seriously. They should not rest on that, they really do need to keep going and do more, in the big picture it really is only a DR-Z250 a very decent Suzuki model but nothing much more than that, with allot of bells and whistles.

Re: ZONTE
Yea... "laurels"... Let's wait and see can "Zontes" pump out at least several tens of thousands engines. Remember this Chinese made in-line-triple 400 cc engine derived from "Rebel's" engine? Some Aussies, if I'm not mistaken, even manage to fit this engine into a caffe racer, and... nothing. One more example: this feisty 150 cc engine we've seen on a bike with inovative front suspension. The silence remains.
Thanks to CCW, that is not gonna happen to this 500 cc "Cagiva" clone, and believe me, I've already get over it.
My observation about earth tones is not concerned pissed Rudolph, although I was provoked by this "cupreous" Rudolph on a photo you posted. I'm bit bored with engines in black or gray, cold chrome, black seat covers... IMO, lot of tamed small displacement bikes could look quite fresh and interesting in mild earth tones, copper, old gold...

Re: ZONTE
"In order to make the motorcycle as a unified entity, we use the unique design which without screws. Advanced foaming technology will make the perfect connection between the right-angle shaping soft sponge and the fuel tank cover without space. The space between all the covering parts is less than 0.5 millimeters. Even in the field of automobile, the kind of technological requirement is rare. The premise is to lower the wielding deformation to be almost zero."
Haojiang got it right, better for less…
This bike has allot of features not found in the price range, I personally think they went out on a limb with the colors, they also should consider other models for that engine. A motocross standard and a classic standard.
For a MOTocross standARD they should look to the DRZ400SM for inspiration. Then they could certainly make a classic standard design for that engine as well.
The Phantom is impressive, however one model is not enough.

Re: ZONTE
I still think that this "coppertone" bike looks nice. If they could put some different seat cushion cover, in a color similar to "Tzahal's" combat boots or maroon, it would look like a dream.
