Re: Qianjiang Motor
If your admiring a Benelli super bike, your not likely to satisfice for a 250cc mortard, but would for a lower cost 600cc version.
If your admiring a 200cc generic Code S you may look at a 250cc model realistically, but may find the 600cc intimidating in all relative aspects.

Re: Qianjiang Motor
I also think that the little Dragon should come in 125cc and 250cc versions and sold under the Keeway brand in South America. They could also offer a 250cc version of it next to the Durango V-twin in the USA.
They also should be offering the Generic models in China as Qianjiang models, they should avoid selling the 600cc under any other brand name then Benelli, they should avoid discounting it and the prestige of its brand name.

Re: Qianjiang Motor
I think I went off the track on this thread….
I have some recommendations they are as follows:
Change the name of Generic to Generi-X.
Offer the same line in china under the QJIANG brand.
The 600cc should not be offered under any brand name other then Benelli and only offered through Benelli dealers.
The 250cc Motard should be in the Generi-X line and also the QJIANG line and not in the Benelli line.
I believe that Keeway is a lame brand name, they could consider dropping it and relegating the scooter sales to that of Generi-X and QJIANG Brands, the replacement brand name for Keeway could be “Red Dragon Motors” and represent a line of retro standards and cruiser type model they currently offer. They should share distribution channels to retail with Generi-X and QJIANG brands. In that any existing Keeway dealers would then become Generi-X and Red Dragon dealers.
So in China the products would be sold as QJIANG and RED DRAGON.
In all other markets they would be offered as GENERI-X and RED DRAGON.
The 600cc four should be offered as a Benelli branded model and sold next to the other Benelli bikes in all markets.

Re: Qianjiang Motor
The BMW 650 GS engine will have a new use for 2012 in the Husqvarna Strada
This style is the direction that Qianjiang should consider going with the 250cc engine they are about to offer in the Benelli Motard.
They should consider developing a full line around that engine, and offering it under the Generic brand for export and the Qjiang brand for domestic sales.
The should work with the Benelli engineers on a 450cc single, they should be focused on the young riders and the growing middle class.

Re: Qianjiang Motor
Once again I would recommend Qjiang to drop the Keeway Brand, switch to Generic, actually Generix. Then create a brand called Red Dragon for the old school models.
Qjiang and Red Dragon for the domestic market.
Generix and Red Dragon for export markets.
Add this to the Red Dragon line with the VX250 engine and its Delphi EFI.

Re: Qianjiang Motor
This Keeway Ultralight could also be in the RED DRAGON retro line...
