Hi ZMC888
You have read my post about the water leak on my bike link here:
http://www.mychinamoto.com/forums/sh...ght=water+leak
I did post a picture of the parts we used. The new parts did not come from CF, the job was not hard to do i can talk you through process over the phone if you like or just go back to the dealer i found the water leaks mainly happens when you first start the bike or when you stop the engine . It took about 1 hour to do and have put about 500km on the bike after i done the water leak and is spot on now .

I tightened the bolts around the pump cover and I haven't noticed any more leaks, but I'm monitoring the fluid level because the heat could dry any leaks pretty easily.
The headlight hanger and some of the frame threads seem to be made from pig iron and thread as soon as you look at them the wrong way.
Pretty annoyed, they go to the trouble of having good suspension brakes and efi, then they drop the ball on bolts and stuff worth a few yuan, pathetic really.

Horn got fixed today, was only a small adjustment by the boss losening a Phillips screw on the horn mech itself.
Took some shots...take a look.

I've put that Scottoiler I won to good use.

Rainy day, but I managed to avoid the worst, and only had a few light showers, although some roads got wet and bike was splattered.

Nice one there ZMC888. Looks great in the all blacked out look, though I prefer white for the conspicous element being even more essential in PRC. Be safe, be seen! Still does look nice. I particualry like the exhaust in black, which I have noticed on some newer model 650NLs & 650TR's like the one Buck and Amy are riding in their 'great ride of China' I'm wondering if the same supplier is manufacturing the exhaust for CFMoto or if another company like Laser exhausts is. I know that Laser Exhausts (foreign motorcycle exhaust company from the Netherlands based here in the NETDZ Ningbo) were approached by CFMoto to make a prototype some time ago. Will have to check with my sources.
It's difficult to see from the photos, but does the exhaust look like it's just the same design as previous versions and just been finished differently in black? It looks as though is slightly longer, with the exhuast outlet facing downward more and not so much out to the side. Still has that huge collector box of tricks though...
Re: New CFMoto 650NK blog x2
Shitty about the bad bolts, but looking on the bright side it's easier to upgrade a few bolts than the brakes/suspension.
Looks super sexy all in black. My favorite version by far.

So I'm going for a ride, get a red ECU light on the dash. Bike stutters at around 6000. Riding it back to the dealers, bike totally no power, will only idle. Switch off for a while, bike works again, red light comes on again a bit later get to the dealer bike works again. Ride it home bike dies half way. Take it to another mechanic spends the afternoon with it. Apparently it's the throttle (节气门) sensor. Busted, can confirm he tried another one from a different bike. None available on Taobao, asked dealer for warranty, I'm expecting foot-dragging and a ruined October 1st holiday riding season, not impressed.
Throttle sensor looks like this:

Also bike has lost 100mm of coolant in a week, so there is definitely a coolant leak and I need a new seal.
Thus far...........1100kms and 2 weeks.
1. 4 threaded nuts, 3 on headlight brackets one on side cover.
2. 2 threaded bolts one on petrol tank to frame one on rear set.
3. 2 partially stripped out bolts on rear-set panel.
4. 70% of bolts not torqued to spec from factory.
5. 70% of bolts not/poorly thread-locked from factory.
6. Leak from seal on water pump needs replacing.
7. Throttle sensor malfunctioned needs replacing.

That's what I did on my last China bike, but an engine bolt wasn't torqued properly from the factory and caused a cracked frame and engine casing crack. Maybe better to open the can of worms, that way you can deal with it before you get a bigger issue later.
Re: New CFMoto 650NK blog x2
Nice bike, it looks badass with that black finish.
