Well we don't know the story (yet) but it is good to see a decent company with willingness to talk on phone, answer questions and open their place up. And it results in a sale for them. I hope the service, registration and backup is as good as this has started for you this time Gardo. Should help put the other crap behind you and help others with their choices. Make sure you put a link to your new thread in the Bobber thread when you have done it mate. And the dealer should join and post in the relevant section with as much info as they like about their business where it involves chinabikes. I think dealers and importers and part manufacturers probably know a fair bit of the back story of these machines and some of the real information on engines and modifications too. They certainly have the experience and information we so often spend ages hunting down!
Hope your youngster is feeling better, a trip on the back of dad's new bike might help!:riding:

I do not see the Qingi Suzuki 250cc on that bike…..I do not recognize the engine.
This is probably their EEC approved bike. I read somewhere (I think somewhere in their site) that the European version will get a different engine than the US version.Quote:

They will have a 125 and a 250 engine for Europe, at least according to their site (I think something like that). I think that perhaps the Qingqi/Suzuki 250 engine might not meet the EEC's standards, or perhaps the importers of the Qingqi (i.e. Sinnis and the like) to Europe have exclusivity to the Qingqi/Suzuki engines, so CCW had to have a replacement engine for the chassis?Quote:

Going through the photos, it shows the various engines and short explanations of them. The 125 is referred to as their 'CBD Motor'

I think the guys at CCW should contact Galaxy and work something out, the Loncin 223cc OHC has good potential. The SUV250 would sit in the CCW line nicely.

I think Galaxy are EPA, at least the bikes that Pitster brings in as their XTR 230 is concerned, so it theoretically should be legal here. The non-Qingqi/Suzuki 125 is probably a money saving thing??
Not sure about the 230 pitster sells they are all off road and may not have to meet the same criteria as on highway. They do not offer a 230 motard.Quote:

I figured that EPA is the hard part; DOT is a matter of street equipment, and I am sure that CCW has that worked out by now.
Pitster Pro dropped products…they dropped the water cooled 250cc dual sports and also the 400cc.
Johnny Pag also dropped the FX-3 for 2011.
I would say they just did not sell any…I would say that getting over $2,000.00 they enter the dead zone and that do to the extensive amount of used motorcycle in the $3,000.00-$4,000.00 range and also the availability of new Japanese models in that same range.
