Re: Exhaust can for Qingqi QM200GY (aka Qlink, etc)
Hi
There is some photos of the exhaust.
I used a mikalor clamp (34-37 mm), and I think that the new setup looks very good.
I think that the bike gained a little bit of power in low rotation and the sound it's pretty amazing!!!

Re: Exhaust can for Qingqi QM200GY (aka Qlink, etc)
Hi
yes, david3921, it just slip on with no mods. In fact, the exhaust fits very well, almost don't need the clamp. Easy and clean! :-)
mickandkat, the sticker is standard here in Portugal. The bike is name I-Moto Tiger 125 SM, and comes with this sticker on the tank and another ones on the side panels (that I removed).

Re: Exhaust can for Qingqi QM200GY (aka Qlink, etc)
hi i just fitted my exhaust like superfamous says straight easy fit have got question for everyone though its very loud indead is there a way to help tone it down abit the can is rivited so easy to take apart
-
Re: Exhaust can for Qingqi QM200GY (aka Qlink, etc)
Hi
Mickandkat I really don't know if there is a a way to tone it down or not... maybe someone on the forum knows a way to do it...
But in my opinion the sound it's great and don't think that is offensive or excessively high.

Re: Exhaust can for Qingqi QM200GY (aka Qlink, etc)
I just purchased the P&P exhaust from here http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...#ht_3547wt_939 and wasn't really thinking about my need for a Spark Arrestor. Is there an add on spark arrestor that would work well for this exhaust?
Kinda mad I bought this exhaust now when I could have bought the FMF from bikebandit.com for the same cost or less with the spark arrestor built in. Is there anything about this exhaust that makes it more redeemable than the FMF?

Re: Exhaust can for Qingqi QM200GY (aka Qlink, etc)
Just got my Qlink XF200 several weeks ago and am loving it but I'm doing the slow break in so haven't hit it hard yet. Just started moding it.

http://i182.photobucket.com/albums/x...XFdealsgap.jpg
First ride up to Deal's Gap.
I borrowed the can off my Pitster Pro Classic 125 CT70 clone to try on my XF200 and it worked so well that I left it on and ordered another Ebay $40 1 1/4" inlet one for the CT70 clone.
It's a shorty can.
http://i182.photobucket.com/albums/x...h/XFmufler.jpg
Used the supplied band with the rubber insert and bolted it to to the first mounting place.
http://i182.photobucket.com/albums/x...XFmuffler1.jpg
I didn't use a clamp because it is a snug fit and I've been running it that way on my clone for two years with no problems. It's a little loud so I stuck a baffle under the spark arrester to mellow it out a bit. No problem with clearance with the plastic.

Another view showing the Load Lord XT225 rear rack (Ebay) that I modified to fit the XF200. Trimmed the arms to fit and redrilled the mounting holes. I used some tubing spacers and longer bolts for the rear mount.
I did some more adjustment this morning and will post some more detailed photos if anyone is interested.

I drilled another hole and lowered the rear of the rack. I think it looks better and tucks in nicely.

Re: Exhaust can for Qingqi QM200GY (aka Qlink, etc)
Did the SAI removal yesterday thanks to the example here. Now off to get the jets.

Re: Exhaust can for Qingqi QM200GY (aka Qlink, etc)
BarNone - How about a Sound Clip Video? I would really like to hear this. Is it Louder then Stock? Notice much more performance differance?

Much louder than stock but I put a baffle in it to reduce to sound to a reasonable volume. Can't say about the performance increase. Need to rejet her. I plan to dyno her before/after the rejet.

Re: Exhaust can for Qingqi QM200GY (aka Qlink, etc)
You didn't rejet yet? Isn't that risky running a aftermarket can without rejet? I thought you had to do this or run this risk of poor fuel mixture and possible over heating the piston? Rough Running, and all those things. It was alsways my understanding that rejet with a aftermaket can was a must?

Re: Exhaust can for Qingqi QM200GY (aka Qlink, etc)
I finally got the jets and need to set up an appointment to do the dyno run before and after. I just migrated from the mountains of North Carolina (higher altitude) to flat Florida so have been taking it easy on the bike until I rejet. 127.5 seems to be the one to try first according to BoostCrzy at

Re: Exhaust can for Qingqi QM200GY (aka Qlink, etc)
Barnone - Did you just replace the one jet?
-
Re: Exhaust can for Qingqi QM200GY (aka Qlink, etc)
I found the whole system for about $250 Shipped - I'm seriously considering this after reading more and hearing it. I read above the the DRZ-125 Will bolt right up?
http://i1238.photobucket.com/albums/...oCircuitT4.jpg
Would it be a good recommendation to rejet starting with the 127.5? Open to advice.......I want a good can, and this I can say has been the most appealing yet.

I am waiting on a different can

before I change the jets plus I had to order the 125, 127.5, and the 35 slow.

Re: Exhaust can for Qingqi QM200GY (aka Qlink, etc)
Keep us posted on that new can - Are you enjoying the FROST in Florida or didn't you get it?
-
Re: Exhaust can for Qingqi QM200GY (aka Qlink, etc)
JTC, can I ask where you found this deal? And is it a "full" system (as it looks in the picture): header, midpipe, muffler?
Thanks, Jroj

Re: Exhaust can for Qingqi QM200GY (aka Qlink, etc)
http://i182.photobucket.com/albums/x...Picture046.jpg
Just a slip on muffler. I put a baffle in it to tone it down.
http://i182.photobucket.com/albums/x...Picture045.jpg
Dyno run with new can and 127.5 main and 35 pilot.
Blue line is stock
Red line is 127.5 and 35 gained about 1.5 rear wheel Horse Power on this dyno. Much smoother curve without the dips.
Ignore green line because bike was in a different gear.

Re: Exhaust can for Qingqi QM200GY (aka Qlink, etc)
The link to it is two posts back mate. Why don't you also go to intro thread and tell us more about yourself and your bike, with pics?

Re: Exhaust can for Qingqi QM200GY (aka Qlink, etc)
Sorry, I didn't realize JTC had several posts with exhaust pics. I was talking about post #110 with the pic of the Pro Circuit Ti-4 exhaust for $250. That's a really good deal if it's a full system, but I don't think there's a link for it.
Thanks for the advice Jape, I did go in and introduce myself (no pics yet though, sorry).
Merry Christmas to all.

Re: Exhaust can for Qingqi QM200GY (aka Qlink, etc)
Ok for those of you who maybe intrested or considering this exhaust system (Pro Circuit T4) total weight of the entire system is 4.9 lbs - I don't know what the stock system weighs yet, but will be sure to weigh it after I get it taken off my bike.
