And your bike is a DF250RTB 2010 or 2012?

I guess in some cases, the CCW Heist would make things a lot less painful as far as getting one of these registered. The 2nd longest thread here on mychinamoto about the CCW Heist was started by Gardo when he had bought one of these and could not register it in New Jersey.
Then again, this thread is somewhat out of place here on MCM considering the majority of the threads are Europeans and European ex-pats living in China. But, please, keep it up, because it is one of the very few threads I can relate to here as a North American! LOL
I was until my health hit the toilet.

PS, that price is likely for some quantity as well.
The 2012 B model goes for about $950
Build cost on this bike is likely half that. Remarkable isn't it.
Re: Dong Fang DF 250 RTB Bobber Information
It's more than likely a dealer price. Buy them in quantities of 30, meaning one container, or $30k.
I don't think those prices are single unit prices.
Some 150cc bikes are sold for $300 on alibaba.

From where do you get this arbitrary number of 30? you have no idea if that price pertains to 5, 10 or 100... let alone 30
Re: Dong Fang DF 250 RTB Bobber Information
This guy has them for units of 10.

I've asked for a price .
I imported a Chinese mini jeep at a sample price (one unit) from the mainland several year ago into the port of Miami with minimum problems. Total cost was abount 1/2 of US retail price. Price for ten was about 30% less per unit.
I used a agent in China and she took care of the whole deal. Paid with Paypal. I had insurance for the shipping.
Sold it with a nice profit.
A guy here in Robbinsville,NC and I are kicking around the idea of getting a container load next season to sell at retail in his shop.

You know what you REALLY should do at the same time is import a handful of engine upgrades. they would move like hot cakes...
I imported my car and bike from japan a decade ago, and i insisted on doing it myself, it was a huge pain in the ass though cuz i didn't know what i was doing. I would hire a broker next time.

The guy with the shop and I are just talking right now. He wants only the DF250RTB_A to sell assembled but no warranty.
He is a Cherokee so he needs to see if he can sell the bikes on band (tribal) land. Nothing is going to happen anytime soon.
The importing can be a pain but it is doable. I ended up having to pay a runner to get all the paperwork done in Miami.
