Got my chain I ordered in, hoping to get it on this weekend, since the weather may be good enough to ride in. I also hope that it is the cure for the problem I was having that I showed y'all in the video. Anyway, will let ya know soon.

euphonius,
The Chinese lady did not understand or speak English except to say "You want massage" over and over. I tried to get across that the motorcycle was called Dong Fang but was not successful. I'll have to go back with your 东方 printed out when I have more time.
Just did the headlight fix on my 2010. The blue-white wire coming from the front of the bike was recessed a good 2 inches into the shrink tube. I'd have to say i would have NEVER found that wire without help from this forum.
bob can u please send me the wiring diagram trying to fix wiring on mine plzzz
Well I got her back together this weekend. New chain, sprocket, bushings etc. took her for a quick spin around the block.. all noises previous to changes have since disappeared. So I guess my old chain was the major issue all along. In riding I also heard an exhaust leak, so I checked around the flange, and about an inch below it was a small rust hole in the exhaust pipe. Gonna have that fixed soon. No difference in performance. I will have my bro-in-law weld it for me, cheaper that way. besides I want to wrap the pipe anyway. Going to go with a gray wrap or black wrap. Haven't decided yet. Hope everyone had a grand Thanksgiving.
Hey guys new to forum. I have a df250 rtb and have 100 miles on it. Love it, but I keep blowing a hose on the right side of the engine that comes off the cylinder head. Hose is for portion of exhaust going to what I believe is an egr valve for emissions. Any ideas why this keeps blowing? I am wondering if silicone tubing or braided steel line will work better to handle pressure and heat. I have replaced the junk hose with local stuff but hose ruptures after about 30 miles. Bike runs fine when hose is not attached just louder.
I think others have had this issue. You might be able to find the solution if you search the forum. I believe something within the egr valve itself is installed backwards. I think they had to take the valve apart and reverse a piece inside of it. It's like a check valve that is installed backwards and the pressure causes the hose to blow off.
It is pollution control. A lot of us have just removed the whole assembly and made a plate to cover the outlet in the head and buy a cap for the port in the carb. I think it makes the engine sound a lot better.
