Jymrvh ,
Yep, make a plate out of 1/8" aluminum to block it off and put a cap on the port on the intake manifold like Bob suggested.

Some of you old timers might remember café make over DF Bobber. I was feeling rather smug over that bike, until I stumbled across this:

Barrone, did you have a machine shop make the plate and how/what is the white cap
Bella,
Same engine as our DF. You can build it, why not?
What would it take to modify the 2012 DF to this?

Take off the fitting that the hose attaches to and use it as a pattern.
Or you can buy one here
http://shop.clevelandcyclewerks.com/...lock-off-plate
The white cap can be bought at any auto parts store.
Or

Edit: (You can just crimp the end of that fitting in a vise which will block it off for a temp or perm fix).
Took a ride out to the ranch to check on the hog traps. No bacon :lol8:

Nice day for a ride. She is running good but still needs more juice.
Bar None,
Good to see you back, albeit I've been absent for some time now. As for the Douglas kit, I'd think the motor would be the only part that would crossover.

Bolt it on and get the cap for the port on the intake manifold and you are good to go after you remove all the AIS plumbing.
