Lifan added the 200GY-5A also called the Cross 200 to their International website , they still offer the 200GY-5.

that HL 250-19B looks like a dam fine bike . ps. mjh just go ahead enter the site and do what needs to be done . what a clusterfuck of shambolic website arrangement that is. as for the poor welding, its just ugly on the outside, really how often do we see these frames break? its not perfect workmanship , and shows a certain attitude to the whole idea of a bike but it takes a bit of skill and sweat to run a mig for 8 hours and make beauty weld
I wonder why some designs never get anywhere, the Lifan Cossack is one of them, this bike is a modified version of the Honda FTR223 with a copy of what looks like the Yamaha 249cc single.
They took some ideas from others and modified them, the frame became an oil cooler in the Cossack. The bike is very utilitarian.

Very nice read. Thanks
If a company has quality control, then that also should exist in marketing…there is such a thing as quality marketing and sending a cobbled prototype to a show is not in the realm of total quality control.
In the case of Lifan they seem to be floundering at all functional levels…it is very much like a giant ship, it has to be navigated thoughtfully, they seem like the captain and crew are drunk and bouncing off a shoal.
Lifan added a new image of the LF250-3A to its English language website, they also added their new offering which is the LF200-16D

They have their 163FML engine in that model rated with 12kw@8000rpm and with 13.8 N.m @ 6500rpm
That is the same rating for their Cross 200
