Motobuys is out of the Suzuki RV clone. Also, we seem to have a new player that is similar to the Skyteam Ace, and it is a 250cc (according to the website-it may well be a 239cc or something): http://avavelocityworks.com/

Not bad, I actually like it and would enjoy to drive with it to work and back to home 5 days a week + visit my friends at the city.

249.4 cc.
Would require some serious tuning but would be a joy after that.
Did you contact them for pricing and availability?
I did, but it was through an email from their website. Hope they get back to me. I asked if the bikes are available, pricing (I read somewhere around $4000), and about dealers and street legality in the states. I'll report back as soon as I hear anything.
Couple articles on the subject:
http://rideapart.com/2013/05/ava-vel...rks-250-swift/
http://www.montereycountyweekly.com/...b6eeaa0b9.html
As they are writing, bikes will be available, alas, at the end of summer.
It is strange that no one among the authors of these articles did not mention "Honda Dream" 50.
Thanks. I didn't know he was also involved with Derringer Cycles. Some of you may want to Google those too. There are based on old boardwalk racers. I had looked at those also.
I have a feeling we will be waiting a long time for this. I have been following Chinese bikes since 2005 or so, and once the EPA made them harder to pass emissions (the street bikes vs. pure bikes) whenever a manufacturer introduced a bike which looked better than the typical bike out there, they took forever and a day to get to market. The first bike I remember which took seemingly forever to arrive to market was the Qlink XF 200. Recently, the SSR XF bikes took something like a year from intro to actually here.
Skyteam might have missed the mark in the US with its version of this bike. They already use the Loncin 223 engine in their line-up, so instead of using the vertical 125 engine in their Dream replica, they should have already been in the process of certifying the Dream with the 223cc engine. Then again, they might already have a part in this, as they are not only distributed via Skyteam USA as Pitster Pro, SSR, Trail Buddy, Pirahna already sell their retro street minis under their own respective brand names.
Not picking on AVA here, but I am amazed how many motorcycle websites will not follow up. I called 3 online sellers to get shipping prices on a CT-70 clone to the Big Island of Hawaii. One dealer actually answered the phone, took my info, and called me back in a very responsible manner. Two have ignored my phone message. I have numerous emails out there for shipping info, most with no reply. A few are great. I have emailed back and forth to Wade Liu of Excaliber Motorsports, and he always gets back to me, and answers my questions. He sells the TMEC 200cc dual sports and super motos, and I am considering one of those. Bill, at Moto Buys is the one that called me back and left a message, and called as soon as he could verify the freight charges. So, who do you think might get my business? Right now, it's either Bill and the CT-70 clone, or Wade Liu and the TMEC.
Does motobuys have the T-Rex in stock?
Here is the web page showing the Trex: http://www.motobuys.com/st125-trv90.html But, it says they are currently out of stock. They want $1775 for them, and that may be a bit high. They do have the PBR/Mini Monster in stock, and here it is: http://www.motobuys.com/st125-p-skyt.html That bike looks like fun too. And here is their CT-70 clone: http://www.motobuys.com/monkey-ib-championdax-l.html Killer Motorsports has a Trex they are calling it a Roketa, and here it is:http://www.killermotorsports.com/Rok...-mc-38-125.htm That one is only $1414. They are having a "Father's Day Sale", but I see that they firsr raised their prices a bit just before the "sale".
The Swift posted last year....AVA motorcycles
It has the Zongshen CBB250 223cc engine with a balance shaft.
Its obvious that Sacin makes the rest of the bike.
