Yeah thanks Bar, did the same with this guy. handle is prince666 but even the prince of darkness himself would not want anything to do with this troll.
Roadkill, sorry for your loss as well. I was explaining to my wife yesterday, that although these beasts are inanimate objects, we grow affection towards them because we care for them, fix them, and enjoy them. Therefore it in some weird way has a soul to us. At least thats how I feel. So if someone stole mine, it would be close to stealing my kid, and i would want to do things that the law would not look kindly on. I pray that never happens. I hope that you either find yours, or at least the fool who took it, good luck.

on another note, back a while ago, it was posted that the fuel tanks sprung leaks at the screw welds, well mine did as well and I was lucky to get a replacement for it for free as the bike was still under warranty at the time. Well riding home from work bam this replacement tank..which has some thousands of miles on it, sprung a leak. Lets say I was quite nervouse, sitting in traffic, watching the drips hit the motor, and kinda poof into smoke. Got her home and pulled the tank imediatly.
Now I am hunting down a new tank. Not gonna get a replacment from the dealer. Just wondering if anyone has an inside on a decent peanut tank( been looking on ebay- watching a few), and would have a site to go to. Trying to stay in the $150ish range.. so far.
Re: Dong Fang DF 250 RTB Bobber Information
as some may know ive been looking to find complete top end rebuild parts for this engine...
best steer clear from any one of the shell companies that RIDEMAX goes by.
MOTOPARTSMAX
POWERSPORTSMAX
on ebay motopartssuperstore
i believe perhaps bowtiew may have purchased his starter or start clutch from these guys, but god forbid if you get a bad part, you become worthless to them.
I wont get into the details, but my experience is still going on, horrible.
The best protection you have is purchasing on a credit card, but since they do not even respond to the disputes from the card company, you will be forced to wait up to 3 months (2 billing periods after dispute opens) to know if you can purchase elsewhere or they will 'make good' and charge you anyway...
I know it sounds clique' but this is indeed my worse online purchase experience ever.
rode 3 times in may, and doesn't seem likely i will again this year...

axa,
Per your request some photos of the oil cooler that I am installing on my DF. I should have it done in a bit. I relocated the horn to make a place for the oil cooler radiator. Just need to make a bracket to mount it.
Looks like a good kit.
I painted the new valve cover black as it was a off grey color.
Note the small bolt that also exists on my stock cover. Might be a port for a pressure gauge.

secondly, that head simply wouldn't fit. without MAJOR work on the bottom end...(ps the 167FMM cylinder sleeve almost doesn't fit in our lower end because the replicas aren't shaved down as much as the loncin, for lack of a better term 'OEM', part sleeve is)
Besides which im sure on that type head there are a load of other things that aren't compatible.
Take my word for it, you will need the specific head.

Yes, I've ordered from AliExpress with success. My oil cooler kit come from there. It is like Ebay with seller ratings and buyer protection.

axa,
It was just a suggestion, no need to go off. Also what head are you talking about? They claim that the cylinder will fit. Positive feedback at
