My ignition switch is acting up like making contact and then losing contact. I can wiggle the key and it loses contact. Didn't you have a problem with yours? If so where did you find a replacement?

Thanks for the link and tips. I'll try some contact cleaner. I need to look at the wiring diagram to see what type switch I need.
Barnone, sorry I did not have an issue like that. Hope you can figure something out. And post a remedy here. Always good for more info.
Just for fun, up to 17588 miles on my bike at this time this morning.New tires rock, had to replace the tail light, old and cracked one before. Found actual duplicate for around $12 from china. simple fix.

Senior moment on my part. I'll try humanbeing's contact cleaner idea first.
Contact cleaner didn't help and I didn't trust the ignition switch since it would go off and on if you wiggled the key so I ordered a four wire ignition from Amazon.http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00U7AUWME?

Couldn't find one with the same connector as the old switch so just cut the connectors and spliced the old one on the new switch. Made bracket out of some aluminum and bolted it up. Cranked right up and went for a ride.
