My DF has vertical pins, rounded connectors, and only one wire on the 2 wire header which may indicate it is more likely be DC.
That that ebay link shows one with horizontal pins, squared connectors, and is AC...
3 strikes and your out barnone!!

Re: Dong Fang DF 250 RTB Bobber Information
Quick question; the rep for Dong Fang went to my friend Alan who manages Excalibur Motorsports in So. Cal to see if Excalibur would distribute their products. Excalibur has left the Chinese bike industry to concentrate on distributing TGB scooters from Taiwan, but they can still obtain many bikes for drop-shipping from whoever sells product as they are a licensed distributor after all. I told him that he should carry DF products, or at least drop-ship them. Are you guys happy overall with your bikes, all things considered (i.e. the Chinese part)? I have not seen too many people on Chinariders with any of the DF enduros, nor any other product. This thread seems to be the only ongoing, active thread regarding any of DF's products, so I thought I would ask...

Re: Dong Fang DF 250 RTB Bobber Information
I am happy with my 2012 DF250RTB-A as it has been almost problem free except for a ignition switch that did not always work without a little wiggling of the key so I replaced it. Oh and the original battery only lasted two years. I own five bikes and it is the only one without a kick starter.
I only have 5k miles on it. Do not expect a spirited ride on the DF as it is low powered and not much can be done to increase the hp.
I feel attempts to increase the power will just cause issues. Mine is pretty much stock except for the rear sprocket change as it comes geared very low. 45 tooth changed to 35 tooth.
A friend here in Western North Carolina might buy mine and if so I will order a new 2016 green one. Otherwise I will just keep the one I have.
It sure draws a crowd any time I stop. I now tell them it is a 1918 Indian and they are happy.

Anyway, apparently no one knows what cdi is needed, confirms it was a very good question indeed.
Re: Dong Fang DF 250 RTB Bobber Information
Does anyone know what kind of seat would fit on the 2010 df250rtb so that i could ride with a passenger, and if you could post a link to the seat that would be great! thanks.

There is none and I don't think the fender stays can support another person on top of it.
